Brightex 72W 6Ft 7200 Lumen Twins Non Flickering 180cm 1800mm Linear LED Batten Tube Fitting Garage Office celing mounting Fluorescent Slimline coolwhite lamp Light Strip Lights

I ordered this light fitting for my double garage to replace a twin 6ft florescent light fitting. Positive points, the light comes on instantly with no flicker. The light is relatively easy to install after fitting clarification which I will come to later in review. The light will give you way superior light to a single florescent light and has come very close to the previous twin. However for what’s on the market I think you would find it difficult to beat for the price. One gripe the light is cool white and I would of preferred bright daylight. On the negative, the light supplied was not as per the advert in regards to it comes with only two wires not three as shown, the fitting instructions supplied mention the earth cable. There isn’t one. After swift dialogue with the supplier it was stated, in brief, you only connected the two wires and the neutral counted for both the neutral and earth connection. Other than that point the two wires are very thin diameter and only have about 5mm of wire exposed so ensure you connect your screws right on the ends as I wouldn’t like to try and strip any casing off these thin wires. I think the aluminium casing would benefit with a slot to allow the cable through for connection as the fitting fits flush to the ceiling. I had to do this myself.

Great light light weight and super easy to install ,clips to wall or ceiling very easy these are a lot better than old style fluorescent lighting and looks more modern too.......BUT HEAR IT COMES ..omg they buzz like a demented wasp and once your tuned into it you cannot get away from it👍👍

Excellent item although the fixings are very fiddly. There must surely be a better, easier fitting method… particularly taking into consideration potentially uneven plastering on ceilings. For this, I reduce to a 4-star rating.

Received, unwrapped, checked over, installed.It’s brightened my workshop beyond belief.

I installed this in our loft to replace a strip light. It's about three times brighter and is lightweight. It is easy to install.

Actually fitted by an Electician about 8 months ago. Today, September 30 2023, it gave a quiet popping sound at switch on. End of!! No more light. But it's been an excellent light, so I'm going to buy anther of the same, in the hope that it was a rare event.

Really good intense light. Ideal for Kitchen.
