Solid! Much Better Than Advertised
An enormous surprise, the Vivo V002T is much heavier duty, substantial, and impressive than any of the photos on Amazon (or videos on Vivo's website) would suggest. The dimension of the central pipe is thick, the dual desk clamps are each very large, and the Vesa attachments are extremely well made and heavy. Wow! This is a serious piece of gear. I have 2 LG 29UM58 Ultrawide monitors on my desk in a side by side arrangement with the original stands. I use this setup for financial transactions and related work, but I need more visual real estate for data and graphs, etc., so I'm adding a third and possibly fourth monitor. I'll still have two side by side monitors, but now these will be mounted on two of the Vivo V002T stands, with two more monitors stacked on top of these for a total of four monitors.I was considering another Vivo vertical 2 monitor stand, the similar The Vivo V002R, and didn't know which to purchase, so I emailed Vivo tech help and they suggested the Vivo V002T because the pole is 28.5" tall from the base of the desk to it's tip, and won't stick out above the top of the top monitor like the V002R which is 31.5" tall. This is just an aesthetic choice. (My monitors are wide but only 12 5/8" tall and I don't need the very long pole of the V002R. You need to measure your monitor height, double it, add the distance off the desk surface of your bottom monitor and the distance between your lower and upper monitor if any, and then subtract the distance from the top of your top monitor to the center of the Vesa mount to understand how tall of a pole you need. It's confusing at first, but that's life!) The Vivo folks also said the V002T will keep the monitors a little closer to the back of my work table, taking up less work space. This has to do with the distance from the center pole to the front of the Vesa plates (it's apparently a shorter distance with the V002T.) Other than that the tech folks said that both models were equally easy to adjust and install. Since I don't have a V002R to compare these to, I can't comment on that.Overall, I couldn't be happier. These are very well made and solid. Today, that's the exception, not the rule. Bravo!

Great Sturdy Stand for Ultrawide Monitors, Minor Design Quirks
I recently purchased this vertical stacked monitor stand for my two 34-inch ultrawide monitors, and I'm thoroughly impressed with its sturdiness and build quality. The components lock together tightly, providing a solid foundation for my displays. The desk clamp is secure and doesn't move, even when holding heavier monitors. The stand has successfully held both my lighter OLED and heavier LCD monitor securely, with the older LCD monitor on top as an auxiliary screen. I've adjusted the angle of the top monitor to find a comfortable viewing position, but unfortunately, this compromise means that the screens don't line up as neatly as I'd like. While both brackets are designed to fit standard VESA mounts, their identical length means that even with two identical monitors angled at different heights, it's challenging to achieve a seamless flow above my head. With the top monitor tilted down, and the lower monitor flat, there is an awkward visual offset, detracting from the overall aesthetic of the setup. One feature that would greatly enhance the stand's flexibility and usability would be an extended bracket for the top mounted monitor. This would enable users like me to avoid this design challenge while still showcasing both monitors in their optimal configuration. In summary, I highly recommend this stacked monitor stand for its sturdiness, build quality, and functionality. However, if you value aesthetics or want a more flexible setup, you may want to look into additional accessories or consider alternative stands with improved design flexibility.Pros:Sturdy constructionComponents lock together tightlySecure desk clampHolds even heavy monitors securelyCons: Minor design quirk in monitor placement - the two screens don't flow nicely above my head due to the identical bracket length and angled positioning.Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase, but the potential for improvement in this regard is a drawback that prevents me from giving it a full 5-star rating.
