This switch has transformed my desktop experience
On my desk I have work PC, which used to have it's own dedicated keyboard and mouse. Then there is my Personal Windows PC and an M2 Mac Mini, hooked up to a switch with another keyboard and mouse. Lastly, a micro Linux box, hooked up to its display, also with its own keyboard and mouse. Three sets of keyboards and mice, cluttering up my desktop, requiring a bit of a shuffle when switching from work to personal PC use. Now, just one keyboard and mouse. The switch has four buttons for selecting the input I want as well as an external input selector switch that connects with a long usb-like cable. But - I only bother with the input buttons when I have more than one PC powered up. If I'm only working on one PC all I have to do is turn that PC on - the switch auto-detects the live PC and selects the appropriate channel for me.There's not too much more I can add - it's a good solid switch (literally - it's case is all powder coated metal and it's no cheap feather-weight) and I'm very satisfied with it thus far. That said, as good as this switch is, there are a few issues that make this a four star review:The beeping. The switch will beep when it changes channels. You can turn that off (see below) so it's a minor temporary issue, but even when it's enabled it has no business being that loud. Also, when I first powered on the switch it would beep at me repeatedly every 2 or 3 seconds. I'm not sure why this was happening, and the manual makes no mention of this. Turning the Hot Key feature off stopped the beep barrage.Low level audio interference. I like that this switch can also switch PC audio, but I've noticed However, it does seem to pick up a bit of interference from my wireless mouse (A Logitech G604) with the dongle plugged into the switch's mouse port. It only happens when I move my mouse, - it's notable when everything is quiet, but with music or video playing I don't hear it.Lastly, there is keyboard compatibility. I'm using a Corsair K95 which works very well with the switch for the most part, but the switch will not recognize hotkey sequences typed on that keyboard regardless of which port it was plugged into. To turn off the beeping and set up for auto-detect mode I had to use a cheap mechanical keyboard I had lying around. This is something that CKL needs to look into and document.[Update 11/24/23]Concerning the audio, as I said when I move my mouse I tend to hear some interference, with things returning to normal when movement stops. Play some movies, play some music - it's fine. But for games, it's turned out to be a mixed bag. Some games, no real issues. But when I tried Far Cry 5, there is a distinct buzzing in the background, not unlike the sound of dirt bikes off in the distance. Not overpowering, but somewhat annoying. For me it only seems to be a potential issue when switching audio through the device, and then, as I said, only with some but not all of my games. Your mileage may vary.

Great little KVM - CKL-942HUA
One thing regarding these reviews, all models of this KVM brand are lumped into one feedback string. Some models may be more problematic than others, just check the tag of the model you wish to buy from the reviewer. The one I purchased, was the 4 port, dual monitor (4K@30MHz CKL-942HUA). All cables are firm and fit perfectly, no difficulties or fiddling around required (beyond running the cables through & tidying up the desk) to get it setup and working. Have had it for a week and no glitches at all.Note my setup is 3x Windows laptops (1x work win10, 2x personal win11 - 1x gaming & 1x business class hardware levels) & 1x windows 10 desktop, with 2x Dell branded 24" 1080P (matching) monitors, wireless keyboard and mouse and a USB label printer. Not using audio. All negative reviews tend to be mixtures of Mac and windows hardware, perhaps this is an issue with native drivers and resolutions. Since I have only relatively newer windows hardware, I may have escaped the hardships reported by others. The only (minor inconvenience) observation I have is the power cord is rather short @ approx 3ft long. I just needed to attach a power bar under the desk to accommodate so no biggie for me. Power not 100% required, may be needed for higher power USB 2.0 peripherals. I just used it for future expansion and not need to hunt for it when\if I need it in the future.Compared to the old KVM i replaced (VGA), resolution has vastly improved with HDMI. I did have to adapt a couple connections to Display port (HDMI-DP adapters) however no noticeable video quality is lost.Given this device is less than half the cost of the 'Bigger company' competitor, is a serious contender especially for home users without an enterprise level unlimited budget.I would definitely buy again, recommend for anybody that has a need to share multiple machines and have the comfort of dual monitors.

Only three monitor / 2 computer I could find
I had been looking for a 2 computer three monitor solution everywhere and finally found it! Works awesome! There is a wired remote switch that work great. If you use a wired mouse you can just double click the mouse wheel to switch and that is really nice. When I went to my wireless mouse that did not work as when the computer goes to sleep the unit can't pick up the click anymore. Not a big deal though as the button is very convenient.

1 year 2 months in, inconsistent failures.
Worked well for approximately 9 months. After 9-ish months with no change to my system, the KVM began showing issues with its ability to wake up and become responsive. I sent my initial message into them which gave almost no useful information, effectively just telling me to turn power the KVM switch off and unplug it. During this time it began functioning again like normal for at least a short time (wake up and usable within 3-10 seconds)Fast forward another 5 months and the issue has returned and progressively gotten worse. I run into the issue almost every single day, sometimes it resolves after 2 power cycles, sometimes after 15+. One time so far its taken 15 minutes of attempting.I would not recommend this KVM switch and I will be buying a different one in the short future as this is a deeply frustrating issue. The one job for a KVM switch is to move between two inputs, and this one lasted 1 year before causing significant issues. For the cost, that is far too quick of a failure.

Overpriced trash
Works occasionally. Randomly doesn’t work for unknown reasons. Have replaced all cables multiple times and still doesn’t work.30 Hz cap is also bad. This garbage would be okay if this was a cheap device, but it not okay for $260.Stay away.Edit: For clarification, I have replaced all cables except the mandatory hdmi that include usb and audio.
