I absolutely love these. They make unpacking so easy, are very light, strong and well-made. They have no mesh areas (like some) so they are also good for storing woollens to keep moths away. The thing I love about this is that there is a zip that helps compress down the cube even smaller. It will help to make the cube less bulky but as you can see from one of the pictures, it will of course budge in the middle when you zip it up. It was fine for me as I could fit all 3 cubes into my 33 litre backpack. If I didn't zip them up then it would have been a bit of a squeeze.As per another review, its a bit of tricky in zipping these for additional compression as the fabric of the cube some times gets caught, but it was fine with a bit of practice. I found the small one perfect for a 2/3 day trip if you pack light like me (few pairs of underwear, sleeping tee and socks) and the medium one to hold 3 t-shirts plus shorts.Great set of packing cubes, although its a bit on the small side for say a carry on wheelie case.I would love it even more if Gonex were to release larger sizes of these and also a long slim version.

If you are like me and you travel a lot packing cubes are an essential tool. Being able to pack and unpack in a few seconds and knowing where everything is essential when you are hopping between hotels.I've used a number of brands of packing cubes including some expensive ones and some not so expensive ones. My first impression of the Gonex set is that they appear to be strong and I have a set that at last has decent zips! Its the first set I've seen that has the ability to be expanded by unzipping a side zip, This is a nice feature as packing cubes work best when tightly packed. The strong handles on all four bags are an excellent addition if, like me, you enjoy camping, you can hang them up to stop them getting wet. The only thing it could do with is a window so you can see what is inside but I've only had one set with that and the zip broke!

I'm about to go half way round the world and looking for ways to pack more in my hand luggage. These are great!They are really light weight (like v thin ripstop fabric, quite water resistant nylon) with 2 zips. One zips one way and then you squash the cube and another zip goes back the other way to compress by 50%. I sat on these cubes to zip up and the zips kept closed no ripping.In the large cube I packed a large fleece blanket, a large woollen wrap, inflatable travel pillow, 2 ear phone headbands and small childs fleece! Amazing. The medium one takes a large fleece blanket and a woollen wrap. The small, i guess would take a light change of clothes or so.I thoroughly recommend these. I would buy more for sure. I think I will have these for years to come. Good tip: try different colours for different prices if you are not fussy!Update: 2 years later, these made it to Australia, Malasia, in hand luggage & back. I have taken up camping, they have been heavily used, stuffed, zipped and none have ripped. I'm buying more.

I can’t believe how much these packing cubes fit inside and how much they compress! I’ve used these for two trips now and despite being lightweight, they are very well made. I’ve really forced the zips sometimes but they haven’t broken.

So handy. Used in my main case and also the ruck sack. Placed iPad in one in rucksack so easily pulled out for security screening and in plane.Used small one for makeup and wet wipes. Medium size for change of clothes and undies for rucksack. As always worried my main case can go adrift and you arrive at first hotel and have no essentials. Bought 3 sets. Makes packing so easy. But will use them any time for carrying stuff. Just buy some it makes sense!

These have revolutionised my packing and makes travelling so much easier. I can organise my stuff into outfits so it’s quicker at the other end rather than rummaging through everything to find what you need for one outfit. I did need to order a couple of larger ones as well though to hold complete outfits. I think the compression would work better in a rucksack, but I find it makes them too hard and rigid for my suitcase with wheels so I prefer to not use with the compression. Recommend these though!

I bought these to go inside my running backpack for run commuting to work. They are excellent and wouldn’t hesitate to buy more for travelling/holiday. I use the small and medium size ones to pack in my running gear, including trainers and a water bottle, plus two jackets. It is a bit of a faff to do up the compression zip once everything is in but I am impressed at how much they can hold. I didn’t think the small one would be able to take my bulky folding raincoat, but it does no problems!The compression zip does catch on the material as you close it so you have to be careful when doing up. The material is also very thin and I’m not sure how long they will last if you are being really rough with them and packing them full to the brim.Overall they are well worth the price. I fit both of them in my 15l backpack, with room to spare at the top for smaller things like a hairbrush, power pack, and my phone.
