Time and Money Saver
Received item within about three days as promised. Since watching a tech use one on YouTube I decided this is what I needed to run some new coaxial cable in a new home. This tool alone will save me money by doing it my self as opposed to paying the cable company to do it. Cable TV is already highly over priced and it pays to be as thrifty as much as possible now days. Tried it on a scrap piece of cable and it works very well. If you are planning on running cable and installing connectors, this is the tool you need.

Instructions
I did a Google search on "coax stripper setting 6 8 9 d" (the 6, 8, 9, and d are markings on the die in the tool) and found a PDF (screencap attached). The 6 is for RG-6. The 8 is for RG-58. The 9 is for RG-59 and RG-62. RG-59 and RG-62 have an O.D. of 0.242", which is the same as RG-8X and LMR240. It works with RG-8X. I'm going to try it with LMR240 Ultraflex tonight, but I don't expect any problems. The only think I had to do was tweak one of the blades so that it would cut completely through the outer jacket. You might want to adjust the strip depth to get more braid. I think 6mm is going to be fine for my purposes. The lack of instructions is annoying. The build quality is meh. But, it works. I'd probably look for something better/different if I did this for a living. But, for occasional use, it's okay.

Not what I expected
My biggest issue is there wasn't an instruction document with the tool. It's not rocket science, but without directions it's a real pain to get the cutter blades adjusted. I needed to set it up for RG8X coax, and after wasting several inches of coax doing trial and ERROR I'm getting close. One of the adjusting screws was laying loose in the bag and the other one was ready to fall out so I knew it needed setup. I won't be buying one of this style again. Not happy at all!

Cable stripper
Got this to use on a radio project I was working on since my others were too small these were the perfect size once I adjusted them it worked great didn’t take no time to get my cables finished after this

Easy to use
I use it on RG 8X. It only took a couple of tries to adjust the the blades for the correct depths. It makes it quick and easy to cut the coax for a coax connector.

A true piece of junk - not even worth the time to order it if it was free
This was to strip coax of a perticular size (various brands). I was way off adjustment.IT'S NO WONDER. THE PIVOT PIN WAS ONLY PARTIALLY ASSEMBLED!The pin was stuck in one hole and not the other. As I tried to adjust, hoping it would work, the pin fell out and it is gone. Terrible worksmanship.I'm going to buy one at a bona fide ham readio cable store or go back to using a sharp razer knife.
