The best Nook color power charger replacement cable
If you own a Nook color that is a couple of years old you know all about the problem with the charger that broken within the first few months and the difficulty (if not outright refusal) of getting a replacement cable. Purchasing the Nook charger cable will set you back at least $25 and the design lends itself to the same problem - the straight connection leaves the cable in a position to be bent or stressed so the connector housing will crack. This one allows the connection to sit flush against the bottom of the Nook and is certainly more comfortable when you're reading the Nook while it is plugged in to the charger. The cable comes in a couple of lengths and the 6 ft is the minimum length I would recommend. In hind sight I wish I had opted for a longer cable just because the power socket is not always convenient to where I want to sit and read. I've had my "replacement" cable for a while now and it works perfectly. There's no light to show when the charge is finished like the one on the Nook cable, and it takes just a little longer for the full charge to finish. All you have to do is plug it in at night before going to sleep and by morning the charge is finished.

Great cable so far
Just got this cable a couple days ago and only tried it out a couple of times, but so far, so good. Background: This is for my car. I have my radar detector plugged into the normal cigarette lighter adapter on the dash, so I used the spare connector in the center console for a 3-way splitter for my charger and my girlfriend's iPhone charger (USB that was plugged into a USB port on a Motorola charger that she had). My charger was a stock Motorola car charger with the coiled cable, and it was constantly pulling on my power connector for my phone, and I finally got around to looking for an ordering a straight cable. That being said, this is what I found for a USB to microUSB cable. I bought the 6-ft cable, which has a VERY thin cord on it. 6-ft may be a bit of overkill, but it allows me some range of motion if I'm checking email in the parking lot, etc. Also, the right-angle connector at the top of my phone is extremely helpful when it comes to not hitting the cable with my shifter when I put the car into drive, if the phone is in the cupholder (where it will reside until I find a decent dash mount for it). Also, if I can mount it on the dash, the 6-ft cable should work out very well.I also purchased this fast-charge, dual-USB adapter that seems to work very well. New Trent Arcadia Rapiduo (1PC) 10W 5V/2A Dual Port high-speed USB car charger w/ Free Full Speed Micro-USB Charging Cable (IMP80C) I have yet to test out the dual-USB adapter to see how fast it charges my phone, but hopefully I'll be able to put that in the review of that part later on. Also, I didn't even read the description carefully enough, and this came with a retractable USB to microUSB charging cable. It's interesting, but probably not something I would use.I was worried, initially, about buying any kind of charger, since the car charger I had before was being very temperamental about whether or not it was going to actually charge my phone, depending on how much pressure was on it. This cord, however, seems to work every time. So, so far, so good. Connections feel solid, the cable is the length that I want it, and, though thin, the cable feels rigid. I'm a little concerned that I may kink it, or damage it somehow if I'm not careful, but so far it is working great.Should I encounter any issues with it, I'll be sure to update this post.

Great USB 2.0 chord, but get a 3.0 or stronger cable for fast charging.
The angled micro head looks and feels pretty durable. The cable is slightly thinner than most micro USB cables. Seems tough enough for everyday use.Doesn't support fast charging and does not charge my Windows Surface tablet with a 24 watt power supply.USB 2.0 speeds, which aren't bad. The product doesn't claim to be any faster than it is.Only complaint is more empirical facts about its charging capabilities were available, not just the data transfer max speeds. Was really hoping I could use this to charge my Surface tablet.

Works beautifully with both my Amazon Kindle's
Works beautifully with both my Amazon Kindle's!! I like the the way the wire comes out of the plug at a right angle verses straight down because over time the cord that came straight down eventually wires in cord broke from bending when I'd stand the kindle upright to watch movies from bending the cord. This new right angle bend in this cord doesn't get bent when I stand the kindle to watch because it rests on the part already bent at a right angle now eliminating that problem. The price for this length cord was so inexpensive I bought two and it was still a fraction of what some single cords cost. The quality of this cord was excellent!! I'd highly recommend this cord for Cost, quality, and better design for eliminating the problem of breaking the cord from bending when you sit the kindle upright position to watch in landscape position. I rate this cord AAA+++

Just what I needed for my KIndle Fire
I sometimes have to use my Kindle with the power cord plugged in, especially since it doesn't seem to hold a charge as long as it once used to. However; the position of the power port is in the worst possible position, the bottom while in landscape view (very poor design Amazon). Since some apps don't rotate 180 degrees when you rotate the device, you are stuck (literally) with the cord jutting out towards you or have to hold it up suspended in the air (very tiring). This right angle USB cord solved the issue and I wish I had bought it sooner. I can also now set it in a stand for hands-free use, with the power cord plugged in.
