Tommee TippeeGroclock Sleep Trainer Clock, Alarm Clock and Nightlight for Young Children, USB-Powered

We bought this almost three weeks ago and my 25 month old who was waking every couple hours yelling and needed me to rub his back to sleep has SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT EVER SINCE. We had definitely been working with him on trying to go to sleep by himself and stay in bed until morning, but this just changed everything overnight. There is a cute video story that you can watch to introduce the clock that actually motivated my child to go to bed just so he could say goodnight to Ollie the Owl. The clock has three buttons and it takes a few days to get them down (think old radio clock style with fewer buttons, but buttons are unlabeled). Once you have it though it's super easy. The lock works great too and was essential for the first few days. The brightnrss can be changed and is a perfect light blue glow. It works great as a nightlight too. I love that you have the option for a sound alarm to go off at the time to get up or you can just have it silently turn yellow. We don't use the alarm so he can sleep longer if needed, but still knows it's time to get up when he wakes. The other part we love is that the stars and hearts that appear around the clock during sleep times "countdown" to the wake time so that you can see how long you have until it's time to get up.

My son loves this clock and it has really helped him understand when to stay in bed. Setting it up can be tricky because you have to set the nap setting also for when you want them to wake up, at least on ours, and it doesn't tell you that in the manual. We had just set the sleep setting and didn't need to use the nap setting, but we discovered that it was turning yellow at midnight. I called customer service though and they were extremely helpful and told me to set the nap time function also to the morning wake-up and that worked. So while they might need to work out that kink, it's still a good product. I suspect mine might be slightly faulty and that most don't work that way, but it works fine now with that adjustment.

My 2 year old is obsessed with owls so she immediately loved this. The concept is simple and effective, and it actually worked for her. She looked forward to “owlie” turning yellow every morning and after naps. I love that you can choose whether or not you want an alarm to go off and that the light can be completely dimmed to be “off” if you don’t want it as a nightlight (even at its lowest light, it’s pretty bright in a dark room).It does have a little learning curve when you set your wake up times, so after a few days of practice you get it down pat pretty fast. No bells or whistles with this one, which I like!

Our toddler (2-3 yrs old) picked up on the color association. Even when she wakes up "early," she knows not to leave her bedroom until the "orange" light turns on. It's been working for months. I think you would know in the first 2-3 weeks if this product will work for your kiddo. i.e. it's worth a shot!

The item arrived full of fingerprints, and the instruction manual was missing. It was clearly sent out after someone returned it. So beyond frustrating.

EDIT: You can turn the blue light off! Whoops. Yay. We'll keep trying.Original review:Only have had it a week or two; so far, the toddlers have worked out how to disable and play with it, so it is now hung from the wall out of reach.Also, it has a very blue glow, which disrupts melatonin and your circadian rhythm.So far, no improvement to early wakings. Meh. MIght send it back.

It used to take me HOURS to put my child to bed. I was hesitant to buy this clock because it seemed a little pricey, but it was well worth the money. It took a few nights for her to grasp the concept, but it’s been smooth-sailing and sweet dreams ever since. I cannot stress enough how happy I am that I bought this clock!

Cute and good to introduce bed time routine however some functions could be easier to use.

Creative and fun to have

Celle-ci a été acheté pour la fieule. Nous avons l’ancien modèle à la maison (celui avec prise intégrée) depuis plus de 4 ans et mes filles l’adorent! C’est super pour se repérer dans le temps la nuit.

L'orologio è carino e intuitivo, peccato solo che non ci sia anche l'opzione con le pile (se va via la corrente o si allenta la presa si spegne). L'idea è buona ma non fa miracoli, se avete un bambino testardo probabilmente non risolverete granchè. Ad esempio a mia figlia (2 anni) non interessava minimanente adeguarsi agli orari che le abbiamo proposto, anzi dopo qualche settimana di storielle e tentativi di convincerla ad aspettare il gufo per alzarsi ha iniziato a strillare e piangere ogni volta che vedeva l'orologio nella sua stanza! Alla fine ho fatto il reso.

Ce réveil est top pour les enfants se levant tôt car ne sachant trop se repérer dans le temps. Il y a juste une petite difficulté pour bien le paramétrer mais une fois fait ça fait le job et notre fille se lève que quand son réveil est réveillé.

I got this to replace the previous version of the same model which had stopped working. The clock is super easy to use and read, and the brightness of the display can be adjusted from off to pretty bright in numerous increments meaning this also doubles as a decent nightlight. Our 2 and a half year old daughter has got on great with this, and after a few nights is now waiting for the onscreen owl to wake up and for the orange light before getting up, which has been brilliant. I highly recommend this clock for both the quality and function of the clock, but also how effective it’s been with helping our daughter on when it’s sleep time and wake up time.
