The most efficient filtration for any reef tank is of course a nice sump. You have options. Buy a pre-made in China non-modifiable box type sump or pay a fabricator hundreds of dollars to make one to your liking. Well, we are changing the game a little bit. You want easy? You want Sexy? You want DIY? You want SAVINGS?? We thought so! What you see here is a neon green (depending on light it can appear yellow) DIY sump kit! This originated from the want for something less drab than all black and the need for an inexpensive way to make a good quality sump. Pick up a 20 long from one of the pet stores for $1.00 per gallon - there's 20 bucks. Add this kit - 70 bucks, and for under 100.00 you have a sump capable of filtering tanks up to 125 gallons! Our bottom baffles are cornered to allow for a flat fit on the bottom of the tank, clearing the silicone. All you need to do is set the first set of baffles in place to allow room for your skimmer, silicone them in place, silicone or super glue the sock holder in place, and set the last two baffles as shown in the pictures and let it dry for 24 hours! The baffles are 11.75" wide, so most 12" wide tanks will do (inside measurement). You're on your way to an inexpensive DIY sump that will look sexy and be the talk of your tank! This item is only the corner sock filter kit and baffles only. The aquarium is NOT included. You will need Silicone to install. Have questions? Just ask!
