Very informative, with a deeper understanding on how to be a better, smarter, strategic domino player. I really enjoyed reading and learning from this book.

I remember watching people playing this game and the loud clacks of the dominoes hitting the table and the screaming of "DOMINO MOTHER***KER!" and I finally decided to bite the bullet and try and learn the game. This book was exactly what I needed. Watching street fiver games was very different than every manual that came with a domino set ever said. This book taught me how the game is actually played and, much like chess, you learn the moves quickly but take forever to master. I'm actually thinking about hitting the author up for private lessons as he lives pretty close.If you want to learn the 5's game for real, buy this book its exactly what you need.

Would definitely purchase this book… Great for any domino player beginner, intermediate, or advanced. He is goes in to great detail on different scenarios.

This isn’t fodder or a random “give a positive review” post. This book has truly changed my game and is a definite/infinite reference. If you’re really serious about singles “5s,” then this book is highly recommended. I went from not having an objective to being a true “up and comer.” Presently traveling and playing UDL tourneys and now looking forward to playing in the World Championship this summer.

Dominoes is a family tradition and I've always loved to play, but I've always felt stuck in my current level of skill…and I've never been able to find much about how to get better. And the people I know who are good never want to share all their secrets!!This book has a lot of concrete tips for getting better and was easy to follow. It helped a lot reading how the author thought about individual decisions. Some of it I already knew but a lot was new to me.

This was an easy read and had great strategies. I enjoy this author’s sense of humor.

Travis Newsome is a great dominoes player and very kind to share all his experience of a 3 time world champion. A MUST READ MASTERPIECE
