Solved My LED Ghosting Issue
This little device worked wonders for my LED lighting setup. I had a situation where my LED lights would faintly glow even when turned off, which was quite annoying. After installing the LUT-MLC in the switch box, the ghosting issue was completely resolved. Installation was straightforward—just connected it in parallel with the load. Now, the lights turn off completely with no residual glow. Highly recommend for anyone facing similar issues with LED lights not turning off properly

Great, small and easy install. Not used for fixing NON led dimers.
Easy install, I used the unit on three dimers that when turned off, had the residual glow. Once installed all fixtures are working properly with no ghost ring. however I did have to replace on dimmer that I found was not LED compliant. Now all working and no more issues. its only been a few months so not sure of module life.NOTE: I installed these on Lutron Caseta switches and had no problems. I have now also installed on Lutron Homework's and RA2 systems at work and have had the same success.

Install in switch or at light fixture
Works perfectly! Be sure to check the pro tip below. Here is my story:- I had Edison LED bulbs in a light fixture wired to a lutron caseta dimmer and it would not power the dimmer, and the lights were always half power.- Researched that some bulbs don't have enough residual resistance or pass through power to power the dimmer without a neutral wire to help it out. The caseta pro dimmer fixes this problem.- Purchased the pro dimmer and it fixed the issue, the dimmer was now powered thanks to the neutral wire but now there was the issue that when the switch was set to off, the lights still dimmly glowed.- After adjusting the trim settings did not fix the issue I researched that some bulbs needs a resistor or additional load inline to help the fact the dimmer leaves some power running through the fixture.- That's where this product comes in. The increased load absorbed the residual power and now turns all the way off.I hope this can help some in my position and come to the conclusion of all the parts you need to get your fancy LEDs to work!Pro tip:This resistor can be installed in the light fixture (like the instructions say) OR at the switch (much easier in my case). However, if you have a 3-way setup (multiple switches for the same light sources) then you must install this at the fixture unless you want to buy one for every switch location.

Doesn't stop LED ghosting
Followed the instructions to install the capacitor in parallel configuration to the LED light(s) and ghosting still occurs. Bought two units, one for a single LED light on a single switch, and one for a multi-light/iseries of LEDs also on a single switch.Neither worked to stop LED ghosting.

Worked with Caseta WiFi Dimmer and LED light strip.
I installed this to completely shut off my LED light strip and it worked. At first I followed the Lutron instructions to connect to the neutral wire and it did absolutely nothing. So I tested it to the ground wire and that worked. So for me, one end went to the switched power wire (although I don't think it matters on the Caseta dimmer which black wire you choose, nor are either of the black wires labeled at all), and the other end of the capacitor is connected to the ground. Now I can completely turn off the LED wire instead of it being on all the time with the dimmer in the "off" position.Caveat, there is a tiny buzzing sound inside the capacitor but it is not noticeable once you cover up the switch box with the Lutron plastic trim. So I can't hear it standing one foot away but I can if I put my ear an inch away from the switch itself. Totally acceptable trade off for me. But the minus one star was due to the tiny buzz...because I am OCD like that.

Worked as advertised.
I had our bathroom remodeled. I changed out the old bathtub to a walk in shower. Once completed I purchased new light fixtures etc. to match. The LED fixture on a dimmer switch (new dimmer switches supposingly compatible with the light fixture), while turned off the LED's had a slow flickering on/off. After research, I purchased the Lutron LUT-MLC. I installed the unit on the light fixture size vs on the switch side. The switch for the light is in a 3 gang box and was full of wires and very tight, so I put the device on the light itself of the circuit. The little device (LUT-MLC) eliminated the flickering/pulsing on/off. If you are having issues with flickering, pulsing etc. I would highly recommend this item.
