Not new - sent a gross used remote that didn’t work.
Super disappointing this was a used remote sent with the mounting tabs used and some else’s gross hairs. For $69.99 this should be new. Never been this disappointed with an Amazon purchase getting someone’s gross hair on them. And oh it didn’t work! No thank you. I’ll be going back to Best Buy direct.

We needed a 2nd keypad
Realized when I installed our Simplisafe system we needed 2 keypads not one. This was priced the same and with Prime delivery so I bought it on Amazon. It works well and getting daily use as it is by the back door.

A must have in any room where people sleep
We have a keypad in the main area, and one in each bedroom. I love how easy it is to add more and more components to SimpliSafe, including multiple keypads. Arming and disarming the system from the comfort of the bedroom allows me to have heightened security settings.I was robbed last Christmas, which prompted me to buy the SimpliSafe system; unfortunately, 6 months later I was robbed again, while I was asleep! They broke in through an open bathroom window, and by default motion sensors aren’t turned on in “Home” mode. The thief was able to unplug the SimpliSafe camera, gather up over $6,000 of electronics, and run out the door while the system beeped for 30 seconds before setting off the alarm. The solution to avoid this problem in the future is sensors on each door, keypads in each room, motion sensors enabled in “home” mode, and instant trigger on all sensors. I don’t have motion sensors in the bedroom, so it’s not an issue to have instant trigger enabled on these. I have to arm and disarm the system before I leave my bedroom. On, and the most important security upgrade yet, a pit-bull. I can’t wait for the thieves to try and strike again!

SimpliSafe lost a customer
The key pad worked well the base station not so much. I reached out to SimpliSafe after 4 hours on the phone and two base stations later I sent the entire system back and went with ring. SimpliSafe used to be good. I stress used to be. Their customer service is awful and not secure. The base stations are unreliable. Customer service has very little knowledge of their components and supervisors who have taken courses in active listening. It is a recipe for disaster when they are not the only show in town. Ring works!

Very accurate and dependable system
SimplSafe has been an excellent system, company from day one. Great products at fair prices. Their respnse center and tech support have been flawless. I keep expanding my system as needed. Would buy again.
