My son loves his new spy kit!
My son ordered this kit for himself with an Amazon gift card from Christmas. He was so excited to receive it and for the price, I wasn't sure how it would actually work. Fast forward and it is one of his favorite things to use (along with walkie talkies) to play spy, hide & seek, etc.He loves to hide the recorder and the motion detector around the house and outside.Overall a great value for the cost. A fun kit to use to encourage non-screen time playing!

Had to return item TWICE! Not worth it.
I ordered this total of 2 items and both glasses arrived either broken or assembled weirdly(one of the ear hook on the side was attached upside down). Super cheaply made and honestly super disappointed with this especially when they are not cheap.I asked for exchange and still glasses arrived broken. Ended up returning. Do not waste your money !

Very fun kit made of cheap plastic
My 6 year old son selected this kit himself and loves it. The sound amplifier works especially well, though using your own headphones improves sounds quality. A few limitations: 1) The light is too heavy for the glasses such that the leg weakens and bends. We solved this by swapping out the light for a very small key change light and attaching with tape. 2) Individual items on the belt often fall out if your child runs around. We solved this by using velcro tape to keep items attached. Basically, remind and prepare your kids that these are toys made of relatively cheap plastic.

Cheaply made, but the spy theme saves it (barely)
The only reason this gets 2 stars is because my kid absolutely loves the idea of being a spy. Unfortunately, the quality of the items is seriously lacking. The headphones are staticky, the alarm is annoying and burns through batteries fast, and most of the gear feels flimsy or like it’ll break after a few uses.If it weren’t for my kid being so into the concept — pretending he’s a real spy — this would’ve already been in the trash. It’s a fun idea, but don’t expect much in terms of functionality or durability.
