I would not have done it that way, but it made sense that consumers expressed interest in ordering both, and that would make it simpler for those customers. I can accept that answer. He also offered me the opportunity to receive an additional unit in exchange for an unbiased review. As you can see in my original review below, that would solve my issue with what I thought I would be receiving in the first place.Please note that I was not "bought off" and received/will receive no compensation for this review - and I am leaving my original review below to ensure everything remains "above board".Here is my breakdown for my updated rating:Customer Service - 6 stars (out of 5) - Even before I was offered another light, I was thrilled with the responses and timeliness in which I received them!Packaging - 5 stars - Nothing spectacular, but everything was secure and in good condition.Product (light feature) - 5 stars - Amazing colors. Fluid movement that feels very zen.Product (sound feature) - 4 stars - I do not personally care for the built-in sounds. However, the ability to use it as a speaker from another device (not wireless/Bluetooth - needs to be plugged in) is excellent.Product (remote control) - 5 stars - Remote works as expected. Nothing fancy, which also means nothing confusing!Product page on Amazon - 4 stars - I would not have set it up that way, but now I know why, and can accept the answer I was provided.I am pleased with the Iavo Remote Control Ocean Wave LED Projector Night Light. My kids love it! I will gladly purchase from jumplight (seller) again, knowing they stand behind their products and have customer service that is through the roof! I will add some photos/video this weekend.*Original Review*There were several factors in determining my rating, so I hope you will bear with me.*Product*The Iavo Remote Control Ocean Wave LED Projector Night Light has 2 features that are pointed out - the light and the sound. The light is incredible. As other reviewers have stated, the light emitted is bright. I set this up in my living room while my son had the stomach flu. The entire living room ceiling (and part of the dining room) was illuminated. However, it was not like having the lights on. It was a peaceful show that looked like ripples on a pond that was very soothing and enjoyable to watch.The sound feature includes several loops of audio. The loops are about 5 seconds long, and have a break before restarting. I found that feature to be very distracting, bordering on annoying. However, turning down the audio allowed for a soundless light show. Additionally, another device can be plugged into this (such as a phone or mp3 player), allowing you to customize the experience.Initially, the build quality had me a little concerned. As it turns out, I needn't have worried about that. I tried *pressing* the buttons on the light and felt no tactile feedback. I couldn't push the button down. For a moment, I tried pushing harder and feared I might break it. After a moment of reflection, I decided to go the other way and try to be more gentle. Just resting my finger gently on the buttons worked perfectly!I cannot speak to the quality or effectiveness of the remote, as I did not try it.*Packaging*The items came in a snug retail cardboard box. Nothing special to note. Since I had ordered multiple items, it came in a larger Amazon box. There was no damage to the retail packaging nor the product, even though it had room to move around in the Amazon box.*Communication with Seller*I received this product on a Sunday. I had some questions for the seller (I will get into this further below), so I sent them an e-mail through Amazon, expecting to hear back by the end of the day on Monday or Tuesday. To my great surprise, I had a response within a couple of hours! Henry at jumplight (seller) was very quick to respond and provided detailed answers to my questions.At this point, you may be asking why I gave the rating that I did. Let me get to that now.*Product page on Amazon*I came across this nightlight as a Lightning Deal on Amazon. It showed a picture of this item and it said it came as a package of 2. That is perfect for me - I have 2 kids! Imagine my surprise and disappointment when I only received 1. As most Amazon shoppers are aware, there are often ordering choices available within a single product page (usually to select color options or storage size in the case of media), and they are not always the same price. I can deal with that. However, on this product page, the options are for two *distinctly different* products. There is this product - the Iavo Remote Control Ocean Wave LED Projector Night Light, and a *different product* - the Iavo Plug In LED Night Light with Dusk to Dawn Sensor. The only similarities between these two products is that 1) they both plug in (though in different ways), and 2) they both involve light (though in different ways). As it turns out, the package of two was only for the latter item.I felt deceived. I thought I was getting two of a product that I knew my kids would enjoy at a price I could justify. However, I was left with the option of buying a second of the item I wanted (at a total of twice the expected price), or get the two pack of an item that would be of no interest to my kids. I *strongly* believe that sellers should set up a separate page for each product, as this will eliminate confusion in the future.*Summary*Honestly, if you know what you are getting, the product is good (would be great if the pre-programmed audio was a little better). If I had ordered this knowing ahead of time that I was only getting one for the price, I probably would have given it 5 stars! So, if you know what you are ordering, I am sure that you will be happy with it. I hope this (rather lengthy) review has been helpful.

The media could not be loaded.  These lights are one of my favorite purchases ever. Two lights at either end of a room saturates the space with color and light. Such a deal for the price and easy to use. The sounds are fun, can be muted, and you can connect your own music to the light's speaker. It comes with the cord to do it. I am getting two more of these lights as soon as I can afford them. Thank you for creating such an incredible and fun product. They are the best part of my Maui Mermaid Sanctuary.

My 6 year old asked for this for his 6th birthday in July. He loved it. I don’t like the sounds as it’s a bit loud and annoying. The waves on the ceiling are pretty cool and my son won’t go to bed with out this item turned on. Good buy

When I first received my package, the item I got was defective, so before doing anything rash I contacted the seller, he replied almost instantly and was very helpful. Now I have a fully functioning cool projector that makes my room look dope.

Kind of disappointed so I bought this and I only used it two times and then I went to go use it for my third time and it never started to work ever again I tried to tell Amazon about it and I was basically beat. So don’t buy if you don’t feel like using it more than two times.

Does it project cool, bright lights on the ceiling? Yes. Does it make two or three different background sounds (ocean and stream)? Yes. Does it articulate in any direction? No. Do the buttons work all the time? No. Does it usually shut off if you are simply handling it or moving gently? Yes. Is it kind of a piece or garbage compared to other lights in this category? Yes.

I actually loved this little lamp for the beautiful moving wave patterns it projected onto my ceiling. I also liked that you could set a timer and fall asleep to it. However, the audio was not too great… on a short loop & the quality was not good. Luckily you could silence it though. Pros & cons taken into consideration, I still enjoyed it until one day it just stopped working. I did all the suggested things to fix it, but sadly it’s a goner. I tried contacting customer service. It was past the return window but supposedly under a one year warranty. Neither the seller nor the Amazon rep got back to me. Plus, trying to resolve the issue (still unresolved) took many transferred calls etc. I’m mad that this now needs to go in the trash. Who needs more plastic junk polluting everything? Make it better & make it last. I’d rather get a quality product at a higher cost than support you turning a quick profit.

AMAZING LIGHT! purchased to use instead of normal lights at night while relaxing. This is perfect; lights up the room well enough you can still walk around and the designs on the walls/ceiling are excellent and relaxing. Changing lights is easy. remote works well. white noise options are good and even better that the AUX port is available.
