Comes folded in a square, but smooths out in less than an hour. Multi colors look like they will hide accidental spills. In addition, some reviews state it is soft, it is only soft in comparison of other jute rugs not rugs in general

We almost did not open this rug because we measured it and is only 8. 5 feet wide and was not sure if It would really be 12 ft long. I chatted with Amazon and they assured me if I opened it and needed to return they would work with me. We opened it and put it under our king bed. It is 12 feet long and it ended up working so we are keeping it. Since it is natural, found some sticks in it but just took them out and it is softer than we thought to walk on. LOVE it!!! Took off 1 star due to misrepresenting the size but this is a beautiful rug and I love it!

It's a natural weave, may be easy to clean, just shake out. Great with pets, cats especially can scratch without showing any damage. And looks expensive. Quick ship.

This jute rug came in a rectangular bundle but was easy to unfold to place on the floor. Color was what I anticipated but texture is very nubby. I chose not to use a pad beneath. My husband is always finding something on the rug that he thinks was dropped but it usually is part of the rug that I need to tuck back into the weave. The bigger problem is that the rug stretches which means we have to tilt furniture to realign the pattern. I'm thinking of replacing it with a sisal rug that is more structured.

I was leery about buying a jute rug because of fear of it not being very soft or shedding. I was so happy that some of the reviews I have read about jute rugs were not true about this one! It’s just beautiful! The color is perfect! It is definitely a quality rug! It has a smell, but so did my wool rug and I know in time the odor will subside. It basically just smells like strong new material. If you are hesitant about buying this jute rug, don’t hesitate! Buy it! You won’t be disappointed!

I got the 11ft runner and it is perfect for our hallway! I do suggest putting non slip pad underneath so it doesn’t move around but it’s perfect! 10/10

the pics the reviewer "be careful with this product" are spot onthe rug is very rustic & rough looking. the jute is soft, but the appearance is not what I was expecting. it is very very chunky. there are thick ropes intertwined with thinner ones. there are lumps & frayed pieces. this is the way it is meant to look. it would look great in certain homes, but doesn't suit mine. on hard wood or tile it would look better. on top of carpet as I have, it was too chunky. in industrial-modern-mid-century, more masculine, or very boho-hippie or outdoor settings it would also be successful. i wasn't expecting it to be so thick & chunky looking. grateful for Amazon return policy.

This is softer than it looks and almost feels plush. I was initially disappointed as there was one 'loop' riding proud above the surface of the carpet, but it has flattened down......neutral colour goes well with my wood floors and cabinetry, and seems to collect dirt well as an entrance hall mat........have to pick it up for the Roomba though......but a good shaking on the porch while the Roomba does the floor beneath works well!

Nice tones, and texture is softer than expected. Feels good walking on carpet in bare feet.

Beautiful and easy to clean

I bought this because I wanted a natural fibre runner and needed this width, which was hard to find. It took way longer to ship than initially stated. When it arrived it was WAY darker in colour than the image shown in the amazon ad. I understand this can be the case as it is natural fibres, but it did not achieve the look I was hoping for. A lot of the loops have began to pull already and it looks untidy. It sheds mud and fibres and smells like a mud-flat. I installed it anyway because it took so long to get it and I was hoping it would grow on me, but every time I step on a hard bark piece in it, I feel both annoyed and disappointed at once. If you're hoping for something that looks like the ad photo, I would look elsewhere.
