🌡️ Stay ahead of the curve with pinpoint climate control!
The Aideepen DHT22 Sensor features a high-sensitivity 2302 chip providing precise digital temperature (±0.5°C) and humidity (±2% RH) measurements across a broad range (-40°C to 80°C). Its single-bus bidirectional data interface ensures seamless integration, while its compact size and fixing hole enable easy installation. Designed as a direct upgrade for SHT15 and SHT11 sensors, it’s the smart choice for professionals demanding reliable environmental monitoring.

Very easy to use, highly accurate
Using this for a "smarthome" project with Raspberry Pis and Raspberry Pi Zeros. Overall very satisfied with the quality of the manufacture and the performance of the unit. I've benchmarked it against costly home weather station units/thermometers, and the accuracy is there within +/- 0.3 C in my observation. Very easy to set up with the Raspberry Pi unit as well - plenty of documentation is out there, and the manufacturer has also labelled the pins correctly (which, unfortunately, doesn't always happen with other makers...)

High Quality Device
This appears to be a "real", one piece DHT22 - compared to the three pack of clones I just reviewed. This is the four-lead device, with the 3rd from the left when looking at the front being null (don't connect anything). In a DHT shootout, this device tracks within 0.75 degrees F with a known accurate BME-280, and within 0.5 degrees F of the three clone sensors. (Room temperatures)However, clone devices are flimsy, have exposed contacts, and in my case required excessive force to insert the three leads into a proto board. If you want the real deal, get this. Otherwise, my experience with the clones is positive for indoor use.

Works great for what I intended
Works great for what I intended. My only issue with it is the accuracy of the temperature. It consistently reads about +1C over my BMP180 sensor. Not a big deal, but I'd is something to be aware of with sensors.

came quick I think it works
I have yet to test it, but I imagine it's fine. The sensor is much better quality than I expected, and while not waterproof, it is epoxy sealed and weatherproof to a degree.

Easy interaction
Product was received as described; new and in the box. Looking forward to using it on my project.

Reads about 1 degree high. Issues polling every 5 seconds
The DHT22 should support polling every 2 seconds. To be safe, I did every 5 seconds and I still had issues where it returned "nan" aka Not A Number, vice a valid temperature and humidity value every 4 or 5 readings. I am using the Adafruit DHT library for Arduino. Temperature values are measured down to 1/10th degree, so I was expecting some decent accuracy, but compared to multiple other sensors, it measured a bit high.
