Super Imperialism "The Economic Strategy of American Empire".
Learning a lot on the economic system of this country. Very interesting and I hope more of the fellow citizens of this country would take the time to learn more on what makes this country so great.

Beware
Up to now I still can't get into the writer's head because it is not written to read in his point of view, accent or whatever you want to call it.. it simply.. I don't even know how exactly to say it.. but it just spits facts and drops knowledge! BUT BEWARE! ITS POWERFULLY BORING! FROM WHAT I HAVE LEARNED FROM READING THIS BOOK I AM GLAD I BOUGHT IT! I NOW KNOW THINGS "they" WOULDN'T HAVE WANTED ME TO KNOW! Especially if you're not from America, BUY IT!!

Best post 1900 historical reference book I've read.
Best historical reference book I've read - explains the rise of the US since 1900 at the expense of the rest of the world. War and trade is a business model the US has ruthlessly exploited - Hudson has recorded the ugly, callous methodology.

A landmark work
Serves as a meticulously cited reference book for understanding contemporary US economic history and the global structures that had underpinned U.S. hegemony.

This book is a must read for anyone trying to understand the role of the US in trade.
Hudson explains US monetary policy from the pre-WWI era to the present day and the points at which it goes through significant changes. He covers the goals of the US at the time, the perspectives of the victims and opponents of these policies and the reasons for changes in monetary policy. I had already read the previous edition but he updates this book to include how the China and Russia are building effective resistance to the machinations of the world bank, IMF, and to the hegemony of the dollar zone in general. Essential reading!

The be-all, end-all discussion on US dollar hegemony
This book right here explains exactly how our economy in the US stays afloat and on top of the world, despite the CEOs and oligarchs shipping majority of our industrious jobs overseas. Spoiler: it's not good, ethical, or sustainable. It also explains how and why China will soon control the world's economy, and despite the American media telling us how much it's China's fault, it's actually the US's fault. If you're going to be outraged about the American dream being take away from your generation, read this book to make sure you're outraged at the right people.
