Encased Belt Clip for Otterbox Symmetry - iPhone 7/8 / SE 2020 (Holster Only - Case not Included)

It's a sturdy clip holster that holds your phone securely.Why I only give 3 stars is because the top part of holster that clips your phone in securely has needlessly sharp edges, sticks out, and is bulky. This causes that part of clip to dig in to your side while wearing it and become annoying. I am 5'11" 180lbs so it isn't "extra weight" in my sides causing the issue. I have had other clip holsters that may not have been as sturdy as this one, but didn't have the issue this one has.YMMV. Just want others to know about this.

I’ve only had it for a few weeks, but if it holds up, and it seems really well made so it should hold up, I’m gonna love this holster. Like I mentioned, it seems well constructed and is extremely easy to use. Multiple positions available on the belt, but I mostly use it holding the phone in the vertical position. Very quick to put into, and remove the phone.

I love my otterbox symmetry because of its lower profile compared to the defender and this holster really comes in handy when keeping my phone in my pocket isn't ideal. The belt clip holster feels nice and sturdy and after a few days of using it, I am very happy with the quality. It maintains the low profile of the symmetry and allows for clipping the phone either screen in or out based on user preference. I'm not a big fan of the hinged clip that locks the phone in place because it sticks out on both sides in an ugly kind of way but aesthetics aside, it feels sturdy and the overall function of the holster fits my needs perfectly. This worked perfectly! Took me a while to get used to the smaller profile case and belt clip was totally different that any I’ve ever had. The reader was the big difference and that’s what took time to get used to.

The device is well made and is easy to use. However, WATCH OUT!! The corners on the phone release lever and the belt clip lever are very pointed and the first thing that happened to me was a nasty bruise on my right hand when impacted with one or both of the levers. I filed the corners down (plastic) and that appears to have minimized the issue.

Functions well. It holds securely, but I have to be careful to be certain that the clamp is fully closed when I use it on a wide, stiff, leather belt. The holster twists easily so that you can adjust the angle for comfort depending on whether you are standing or sitting. The plastic seems to be a good grade and should be durable. My only gripe is that the corners of the upper clamp are sharply pointed, so that I scratched my wrist on them several times. I took a file to the corners to smooth them down. Were it not for this, I would have given it 5 stars.

I love this belt clip, no only does it fit my favorite otterbox case, but it feels well built and up until now has taken all the abuse I send at it. I usually break belt clips once every 6-9 months and I think this one will be one to last me much longer. And unlike other cases that come with belt clips, I do not need to buy a new case to get a replacement clip. This is just the clip so when it breaks I can just purchase a replacement and be happy.

This clip is extremely useful when walking around any where, ie. office, workplace, walks. The only negative is wearing it with a seatbelt or sitting in a stuffed type chair. In these situations, the clip can get tangled and can be snapped/broken.

GREAT !!!i've been using Defender Otterbox cases in the past ... always the same ending after a few months ... outside rubber shelf keeps stretching ... and stretching ... 6 different cases .. same results.. looks like the intensive use of the belt clip is to blame for the stretching ...But now ... this belt clip is great ... matched with a Symmetry Otterbox case ... perfect combination !!!!tough belt clip .. easy to use .. good quality ... i like it ....

So far this belt clip seems durable I’m not fond of putting phone in my pocket.ive had a couple otter boxes that the clip broke off then case was rendered useless . This clip case was way cheaper and see how long it will last thank you

I was looking for a case that I can clip on my workout pants. I don't like the armbands and this clip is perfect. I purchased the OtterBox Symmetry Series case and this fits it perfectly. I like that I can remove it easily after going to the gym and use my phone with the Symmetry case.This product is sturdy and well made. I'm glad I ordered it!
