Battery was an exact match for the original and seems is fully charged and working as expected. Easy to install once you realize that there are screws under the rubber footing on the bottom of the laptop (and to remove the screw under the DVD tray). I mainly use the laptop when it's plugged in so I don't have an idea of how long the battery lasts with a full charge.

My 17" HP Envy latop battery started to swell and get really hot so I bought this as a replacement.It's been a few months and it's working well. Installation was fairly easy.BUT !!!! Now my boot process is halted every time with an annoying message from HP telling me that I'm not using an HP Battery. It's something HP could clear if they wanted and I've contacted them several times about it but it looks like they'd rather annoy me every boot up. Thanks HP for being so annoying.Anyway, so far so good with this (cheaper than HP) battery

REVISED REVIEW (FEB 8, 2025) -- INCREASED to 4 STARS because of EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. In July 2024, I purchased TF03XL battery for my HP Pavilion laptop with SSD drive. It worked very well for five months (typically for 2-1/2 to 3 hours), then suddenly weakened to only 25 minutes to shutdown. Seller (Fancy Buying) has a one year warranty. I informed Seller of the situation, and they IMMEDIATELY shipped me a new TF03XL battery which runs for 4+ hours. Honest & Trustworthy Seller -- I will buy from them again. RECOMMENDED.

Maybe this one battery was just a lemon. Sometimes that happens.I installed the battery in my laptop shortly after it arrived. It had a 70% charge right out of the box. I charged the battery to 100%, then detached the power cord. After letting the laptop set for 20 hours, I checked the battery and saw it had 99% of it's charge left. All looked good. But the next day, my computer failed to boot. It was like there was no charge in the battery whatsoever. I attached the external power supply, and the computer booted with no problem. To my surprise, I found the battery to be fully charged. It just wouldn't boot my computer unless the power cord was attached. I installed the old battery, and my computer booted up with no problem without the power cord attached. I repeated the process; installed the new battery and the computer wouldn't boot. Installed the old battery, and it came right up. I've never before heard of this kind of problem with a laptop battery, but whatever the problem with it is, it defeats the purpose of having a laptop if I can't start the computer without the external power supply. Amazon was good about refunding my money.Good Luck if you buy this particular brand. I'm buying a different brand.
