This set replaces all of the transmission solenoids of the 5 speed automatic. There are differences between the ford version and the Mazda version, but if due diligence is done, fixing the transmission issues can be done with patience. The other things that some vehicle owners dismiss is changing the fluid and filter. I had over 180k and my fluid was black with lots of filings attached to the magnet. Basically filled and drained the fluid twice and still had some codes. Third time was a charm, reused the basically new strainer but cleaned the magnet and pan. Test the resistance of your old ones so you have spares if the are good and code goes away. But for mine, had to replace them all to get the fresh fluid to act correctly from the signals of the tcm/ecu/ etc.

The parts were of good quality, but they didn’t totally fix my transmission. More troubleshooting to do.

Had problems almost immediately after everything got installed. Kept throwing the "B" solenoid fail code. After erasing three times it finally drove correctly. Then i parked the car for a week and went to move it and it threw the code again. Now i gotta go tear apart again , start over.
