Learning braille can be difficult when you are not used to the tactile sensation of the language beneath your finger tips. The aim of this teaching aid is to start with a visual basis before progressing to the next level. The dots on this board are engraved, not raised. It is a wonderful method of helping sighted individuals learn to read braille. It also functions very well in an escape room setting as a key for players to translate any clues or messages presented to them in braille The letters, numbers and dots of the braille panel are laser engraved/recessed, not raised (not ink or cheap stickers) so you will not have to worry about anything washing off or wearing out. The panel measures 9" x 6.75" and is cut from 1/4" Alder mdf.
