Q: Does the faucet head screw off? (I want to attach a water hose.)

I have no idea as it is a kitchen faucet and not a laundry room faucet with screw threads on the end. I do not think you could attach a lawn hose to this very functional kitchen faucet. Attach a faucet to an outside spigot designed to do this function.

Q: Is this faucet compatible with 1 or 3 holes?

BOTH and MORE! Has a 1 hole fitting AND a 3 hole plate AND Soap Dispenser if you have FOUR HOLES!

Q: What is the pull out hose made of ? Coiled stainless steel (preferred ) or braided cord ?

Looks like stainless steel with a plastic web coating on top flexible that is also firm

Q: is this faucet for a double sink? or only a single sink?

Using it now in a double sink with one small sink and one larger sink. But main problem is swing faucet from one side to other cause the hose to twist and thereby twisting the faucet a bit. This will tend to shoot the water from one side to the other side. Other than that, it is great. Had a Kohler before (in white) and it did not do that...however, they do not make it in white any longer.
