Very easy to install
Keeps the cold air where it needs to. My hatch is a tad smaller soI just folded the back corners. Easy to unzip and get to attic. Not too high to get over

Seals the attic opening
Used this to block the flow of warm air into the attic. This it does well.I had to make a frame of 1 x 4 in to raise it up because it wasn't tall enough for my stairs when folded. This was a bonus because it made it more ridged and easier to handle and secure.I have had no problems at all with moisture on the warm side.

Will not dramatically reduce your energy bill but will make a small difference for air leaks
I had always wanted to buy one of these insulation covers for my attic hatch but never had the patience or desire to install one because my attic ladders are insulated with insulation boards/panels. Now that it's summer and my monthly AC bill is going up, I've decided to look into this solution.Summary: I would recommend this because it's like a tent that you can just put on top of your existing attic hatch, assuming your hatch has similar dimensions as this hatch. It won't reduce my energy bill by half though. Don't worry if it's a bit too small for your hatch as you can use a bit of spray insulation foam to cover any seams. Please note that you will need a stapling tool in order to attach it to your hatch though.Pros:+ reduced hot air leaks coming from my attic+ reduced radiant temperature about 3-5 degrees FahrenheitCons:- will need a stapling tool from a home improvement store, might want to use 3/8" and 5/16" staples at the minimum- I think this cover's biggest flaw is that it doesn't have expandable pleats at the corners so that it would provide a better fitting for attic hatches that don't conform to the normal dimensions or at least slightly off
