Solid quality for the price.
I bought this for a blade that wasn't so expensive I couldn't thrash it working around the farm. Saw some reviews knocking the sheath. Seems pretty solid to me. It's leather and has all the things that go with leather sheaths. It not kydex but, again, for the money it pretty damn good. For the dudes who said the snap loop was too small... stop being a pussy! Gotta stretch it a little. I don't want the thing sloppy and loose. I want it secure and it does that well. Blade is reasonably sharp which is best for a thrashing knife. I don't want a surgical edge because it will dull too easily. Haven't used it enough to attest to it's durability but looking it over and having bought and used a lot of knives over the years I feel confident it will give me my money's worth. This would make a great low budget hunting knife.

Awsome Knife
Great knife for 50 bucks, wish it was from the USA but its everything they said it was. the snap didnt fit so i had to stretch it really good bye twisting it. The blade is Extremly sharp, be careful.

Cheap and poor quality control but probably worth the money
First glance it's very impressive looking. A bit bigger than it looks in the pictures and pretty hefty. Came very sharp. Very secure in hand except when you start finding hotspots and sharp edges all over. Partially due to the handle materials and design, and partially due to poor quality and control in the fit and finish department. Bought this for hunting and I'm sure it'll wear my hand raw in multiple spots when field dressing a deer. The handle and blade aren't perfectly aligned like they should be and you can see a few gaps all over where different materials come together and aren't sanded down properly. Also the sheath doesn't fit the knife well at all. The leather band with the snap closures is too short to fully wrap around the blade and snap close. I had to remove the band and re-thread it through only 1 of the 2 slots in the sheath to get some extra length out of. Which of course means more pressure on a smaller area of cheap leather and I fully expect it to snap through at some point.I'd give it 3 stars if it wasn't for the fairly low price of ~$50.

D2, Great for the price
I was looking for an affordable camping knife and was excited to see this one come up in D2, which is one of my favorite steels. The fit and finish are great for the price, the only potential problem is that the tang is slightly proud of the scales, which might cause a bit of pain trying to grip for long periods.I will change my review if the knife doesn’t hold up to abuse testing. Comes very sharp out of the box, not hair whittling but a good functional edge the glides through cardboard.UPDATE: I used some wet/dry automotive sandpaper (2000 & 3000 grit) to round any hard edges on the handle, it did not take very long and I was not aggressive to get it feeling great in the hand. The knife survived some very light batoning with no damage to the edge. Whittles just fine, but it is big enough I don't think it would be my first choice because of the increased risk of having such a long exposed edge. I'm happy to have found a good around the ranch work knife that won't need sharpened very often.

Very good knife. Holds an edge
I live on a sheep farm, we butcher sheep regularly. I have used several knives to butcher sheep. this knife has been very impressive. Depending on the knife I have to sharpen it between 1 and 4 times during the skinning and gutting process. I sharpen this knife once during the skinning and gutting, and once during the quartering and butchering.I have been thinking about getting another.I have chopped into sheep bones trying to quarter, and there are no chips in the blade.the handle is very large. I wear men's size large gloves, and my hand is still small for the handle. My mom has a hard time using this knife. If you need a large handled knife this is the perfect knife

Good knife, sheath lacking
This is a really nice knife. Fit and finish are nice, shave your arm right out of the package. The only complaint I have is the strap on the sheath is sized too small for the handle. I did manage to stretch it after 10 mins to get it snapped. I will leave it snapped a couple days and then oil it up with some mink to see if it will stretch into a workable length. The knife feels great in the hand.
