SPEAK AUSTRIAN: Handbook for the Austrian dialect and your first steps in Austria

Excellent book full of interesting and useful information. But. It really needs a linked sound whether it be a CD or something on the internet. Without it I am trying to find alternative methods of getting the sounds, and as the book says finding other Austrian teaching is difficult. Come back with a sound link and you get 5 stars. 6 if I could. But the sound link is really important.

This is great! Well done. I could have used this 45 years ago. Very happy to have it now.

This book is more for people comfortable with German and showing the difference in Austrian “German”. Not a phrase book

There is nothing in the book about how to pronounce the words given in its pages. Audio files are available on a website mentioned in the book, but I found them to be useless because I could not determine which sounds in the file (i.e. Austrian words?) belonged to which words in the book. I am returning for a refund.
