10/10 and incredible value. 😍
To try and make a long story short, I'm new into the RC hobby world and I really like the crawlers.I started with a 1/16 4x4 slash that I could do light crawling with. Got hooked and bought a trx-4 Ford bronco. To keep it short I wanted a truck so I bought an Arrma big rock by Horizon i believe. Huge mistake if you're a beginner and into crawling. The positive is that I learned a ton about RC maintanance but on my quest to make the big rock into a crawler I stumbled upon this esc and motor combo. I am incredibly surprised. This basically makes my big rock into a trx-4 sport as far as how it drives.I did have to adjust the pinion gear and buy an adapter but it's supper easy to do. If you're using it as a direct replacement for a trx-4 you don't need to. It's a 3.75 motor Shaft and my old pinion gear was for a 5. Either buy a new pinion gear or buy an adapter IF you need to. Make sure you do a little bit of reaserch on what you currently have. The description on this product says you can only use 2s lipo on this but if you are using it on a trx-4 or a heavier vehicle such as most 1/10 scale, I advice you to use a 3s or it won't have enough power to crawl the extra steep hills or have enough speed if you're into some light bashing as well. It is compatible with them but if you're worried about heat, buy the motor and or the esc a little fan. Aniway incredible product for the value.

Motor failure
The motor does good for the price but it is the same as the other brands the little bearing will go out in the nose or the back of the motor after a little time I think this one lasted 2 months.

Awesome system for the money 3s capable!
The media could not be loaded. This thing rips! Just plug and play. It is running great on 3s no temperature issues. Unsure of durability but i have a Holmes hobbies motor to throw in if id like.

Misleading
I bought this thinking it was an upgrade for my racing RC car. But it turned out to be for crawling only. They don't specify what type of combo it is used for in the description. If you have a crawler or 4x4 it will work just fine. But if you're going to use it for racing don't it's just too slow.

Burning stinky smoke.
Wired all up nicely, got fresh pinions on. Set out to the trail for the first test run. Did fine for the first 20 mins roughly.. Then lost all connection to motor inputs. But could still turn. As I approached the rig it went into reverse all by itself and as i picked it up to shut off the esc was smoking and stinks really bad. Motor melted sticker onto my chassis and motor mount has burnt ring on it now from motor being so hot. Do not buy. I tried to go cheap and this is where they say, u get what u pay for. I got not even 20 mins out of this run! I ran on a 2200 2s lipo! Bec to 7.4 and crawl mode was on. No idea what happened here. Want my money back. 1 star cause I can't do zero.

Page says only up to 2s, but product says up to 3s.
Product page says " Input voltage:7.4V (2S Lipo 6V-8.4V (5-7 cells NiMH . Note: It is recommended to use crawlers mode for crawlers vehicles and high-speed mode for trucks.(Note: Not compatible with 3S Lipo battery". However the ESC itself says "2-3 Lipo 5-9NiMH", also googling the "BDC80" esc, every other page that lists the same unit says it can take up to a 3s lipo so I'm not sure why this product page says only 2s.Either way, I've tested mine with 3s and so far it seems great. I haven't noticed any overheating or any other problems.
