Great auger bit
I have a battery operated earth auger with an 8 inch bit. I bought this for putting smaller posts in the ground without concrete. It drills very quickly almost too quickly at times. It seems to be good enough quality. Overall I am pleased with this purchase.

Great Tool works as intended!
I used a 3/4 inch adapter on my SDS plus hammer drill and cut through the dirt like butter. Perfect for transferring potted plants and making holes for post 4x4 wood or steel with concrete

Needed modification to fit Predator Auger
I bought this to so that I couldreplace a lot of fence posts with very hard compacted gravel. I already have a Predator Auger with a 8 inch bit, but that is a little too big of a hole. However, once I received this bit it was very apparent that it would not fit on my auger, so I took the bit to a machine shop to have them remove and replace the connecting piece to fit my auger. The 4 inch hole was exactly what I needed, and it works like a charm.

Excelente

Good auger, soft bit
I live in Florida and used this to build a 50x90ft dog pen in my pasture. I used it off daisy chained extention chords and had zero problems when using in open field. The moment I hit palm/sycamore roots became the problem. The roots would wrap around the bit, stop the bit, and spin the engine. If you aren't ready for this, say hello to a broken wrist. Luckily I already did know so I let go fast and was fine. Motor is great, the tip bent quickly on the roots tho.
