Works great and is not too expensive
I bought these torches for the many sea turtle trips that I organize. The red light is bright enough without being too overwhelming. Also you can set the focus of the light, how great is that!

Don't let the small size fool you - this works great!
I got this for my son and husband who each have a telescope. Red light won't mess up your night vision and when using a telescope, you still need some light so you can change lenses, etc. This little red light is perfect. It is telescoping by simply pulling up/down on the end of the light. So if you want to see a small area or light up a larger area, you can easily do so. Handy belt clip. Feels sturdy in your hand - not cheap lightweight plastic.

Solid, red light flashlight
Both of these worked with rechargeable batteries on arrival. And have continued to work for the last two weeks. They are maybe just a smidge bright for astronomy. But they work just fine in the dark and don’t disturb my sleep when I need to let the dog out.

Handy size, work good
These red flashlights were purchased for a star party event in a dark sky area and they worked great. They've been used many times since then and I find them to be well-made and are a handy pocket size. Some alternative products use multiple smaller batteries but I liked that these require only one AA battery and are a simple single mode operation - but you can adjust the beam of light in or out, which is very helpful. Would buy again if I ever need to.

Bright little light
These are small but brightBought these for our Florida trip next month to walk on the beaches at night, took one outside at night time to check brightness and I could see the deer in my backyard at about 75 yards no problem with it zoomed out

great product for the price
These lights will come in handy. I don't like using white lights while I'm working in the dark. They seem to be pretty well made.

Nice little flashlight, but...
I like the small size and the simple on/off without all the other modes that are on some.I will use it at the dog park where I start the walk before daylight. Keeps me from blinding others with my light and keeps me from losing my night vision every time I turn it on.The but is; one of the four I bought apparently has a bad switch. It turned on briefly after repeated tries then quit altogether.I'm wondering if the switches on the others will eventually fail prematurely. Time will tell.Edit: determined it was not the switch that is faulty by swapping it between flashlights.

Reliable and Dependable Light
Excellent light to deploy when you are working in dark surroundings and don’t want your eyes to be exposed to white white. Once you turn off the red light, your eyes are automatically acclimatized to darkness.
