Near Daily Use for Years, Lovely Kettle
I bought this probably 2 years now and it quickly became my trusty teapot for every cup of tea brewed. The outer cast iron is beautiful, and the interior is easy to clean. I can fill with enough water for just a cup, or fill it to capacity for several cups worth when I'm sharing tea with others. Sometimes I throw a teabag into the pot, or put looseleaf tea into the removable cage. Other times I use it just for boiling the water. It functions great as a stovetop kettle, the cast iron stands up to the heat. If you leave it boiling for too long, grab the handle with a cloth, as it will eventually heat too hot to touch, though I usually get to it before it gets too hot to grab. As long as you set it on a trivet or hot pad, it transitions seamlessly to a beautiful serving pot.I am very used to cooking with and cleaning cast iron, so rust has not been an issue for me. I usually don't even bother wiping the exterior dry. The only discoloration I ever see is along the rim under the lid, and I can wipe it off with a finger. I almost always rinse it clean with cool water only, swirling it around the interior and pouring it out the spout, occasionally wiping the interior with a soapless sponge and brush for the spout, then left upside down to air dry. This teapot gets CONSTANT use in my kitchen, and it holds up like a champ. Absolutely love it. Would buy again!

Love it
I bought this as a decorative piece for my electric woodstove. i wanted a rustic look for my Modern Farmhouse decor. It's excellent quality, very attractive and adorable. It's looks like the picture except that I expected it to be bigger. I did read the measurements but for some reason I thought it was bigger. I love it, though. Very nice. Seems like it would be perfect for making a couple cups of tea.

Enamel covered cast iron tea pot
It is as pictured, a very pleasant shade of green. It holds 27 fluid ounces and heats rapidly. It retains the heat being cast iron.

Very heavy duty !
The media could not be loaded. Very pretty teapot! Super heavy and sturdy, but smaller than it looks. But can hold 32oz. Any less than 24 oz won’t vibes the tea leaves basket to soak the leaves so needs to be at least 24oz in it.

Unique and Darling Teapot
The media could not be loaded. Could hardly decide on which color to get—finally chose Purple/lavender. I knew it was going to be smaller than what I would have liked, but I’m fine with the two cup servings. I do wish the top had a lock when I tilt it to pour—would definitely be an improvement. When I read that it could possibly rust—that was a turnoff, however, I decided to take a chance on that issue, because the teapot is so darling and easy to clean, and if it does rust around the lip, I’ll use it to hold zinnias from my flower garden. A win-win! So far, no rust, and I’m loving this darling teapot.

Adorable tea pot
I absolutely love the look of this tea pot! I bought it in the color blue, but I also love the light green one. You can tell it's good quality and built well, much more durable than ceramic teapots. As you can tell from the picture, the teapot is relatively small, which I personally find more aesthetically pleasing. If you are looking more for functionality you may want to consider a larger teapot, it probably won't look as cute though!

Beautiful but not what I need
While this is a beautiful and solid kettle, it arrived with rust on the rim and bottom. It has a metal handle that gets very hot on a stovetop, and the second time I used it the top fell off while I was pouring boiling water and gave me second degree steam burns across four fingers. It's been almost two weeks since then and my hand is still healing.I think it'd beautiful, but it does not work for me.

Size up. It's smaller than you think!
I bought the 40 oz since other customers mentioned surprise at how small it is. I figured they were referring to the smallest size. I do love it. It's beautiful, has a nice weight to it, heats water fast, and I've used it daily since it arrived, but if I were to purchase again I would get the 54 oz.
