Excellent Product, Would Recommend!!
This is an excellent stylus. I bought the one silver one which looks very nice. I noticed that once I started using this that my Apple Pencil’s battery started lasting longer. I think this is because the Pencil tip isn’t touched as often than when stored outside a case, so it isn’t being activated as often. It handles well. The Pencil slides in & them when you turn the cover it actually moves the cover to reveal the tip of the Pencil. If you push real hard it will slide the Pencil in further. I’ve never really found this a problem except when connecting or disconnecting it from the iPad for charging. It’s a little “fatter” than the No. 2 sized Pencil. I got used to it quickly. I don’t think the clip on the side of it is very useful since it will allow the case to easily slide off of what you have it clipped to, unless it’s a thick thing. I highly recommend this product and really enjoy using it.

SAVED MY PENCIL
I actually bent and cracked my Apple Pencil my accident as I was getting out of the car with my iPad in hand. Scared that I was now in the hole $100 to replace, I was shocked to find that it still worked, but with a large crack in the casing. I immediately bought this. The pencil took a little effort to insert (remember, bent, so NOT the case's fault) but it has been secure and I have peace of mind knowing it is well protected and if all goes well should be fine indefinitely. THANK YOU FOR THIS PRODUCT!

Pricey but good protection
The Apple Pencil is a great, expensive, delicate tool. For me, when it comes to purchasing anything, anytime "expensive" or "delicate" are involved so are protective cases. In this case it is a case/cover. I looked at a lot of case and cover options, some actual pencil cases, some rubberized sleeves and rubberized sleeves with magnets in them. (I love the idea of being able to magnetically attach the Pencil to the iPad when carrying them or to rest the Pencil while not using it. More on that later.) While researching cases and covers I was also conscious of hand cramps I got due to the narrowness and slickness of the Pencil. With all that in mind I gravitated to the Ztylus Slim Apple Pencil Metal Case.I love the fact that it is made of aluminum, offering great overall protection, outside of the exposed end cap. As others have noted, with the clip, rolling is not an issue. So there's another plus. The size (diameter) is good too. I initially had seen their plastic, earlier version and was considering getting that but the thinkness was a concern. I'm glad the research lead to the metal case because it offers a great in-between option that will take getting used to, but is closer to comfortable. I was hoping the texturized surface would help with the slickness issue, however it doesn't. I found when writing, which I do more than artwork, that I was still having to grip harder to keep my hand from sliding down. Not good for long term use. Applying a strip of gaff tape around the case, close to the point end was a huge improvement. (This is a tip for users if it helps, not a design change suggestion. Though improving the texture of the cover might be good.)By design the Pencil is long, longer than your normal pencil or pen. Adding a metal case to the long Pencil, which is thicker at the cap end makes the long Pencil top heavy. This is something for buyers to be aware of and users to get used to. The little rubber cap protector that is included looks odd and counter to the design of the Pencil and cover. I like the idea of it because I don't want to loose the end cap, but just don't like the look. In addition, the rubber is light with a loose grip so every time I removed the cap I had to readjust the loops as they slid so much. A little frustrating and not something I want to always to be conscious of when using the Pencil. I'm opting to let Apple's magnetic design do its job. Which brings me back to magnetic covers. It would be nice if Ztylus could incorporate a magnet in their design to be able to store the Pencil on the iPad. Though I'm aware with the added weight of the cover itself, it may have to be a sizable magnet which would just increase the bulk and weight of the case and not be an "improvement."Lastly, something to be aware of when installing. It comes with detailed instructions. If you install the Pencil and have the issue that it doesn't retract all the way, experiment with it taking the Pencil out and twisting the case in the opposite direction before reinserting the Pencil. It arrived in the opposite position from what the instructions said it should have been in, which lead to a little confusion when installing at first. In the end, the price may be a turn off. It IS pricey, but I like the case and am happy with the purchase.

Durability Is Less Than Desired
I love this case for my Apple Pencil - the size is comfortable and I feel like it's very protected. Having toddlers at home, I require maximum protection on all of the things. The metal construction is actually very comfortable to use for extended periods of time and I love that the pencil screws in and out of the case versus clicking. Unfortunately, the durability of some of the components leaves a LOT to be desired.Things that bother me the MOST:1. The rubber band that hold the cap on the end has stretched out and, if I'm not careful, the ring around the case will slip off and I've had more than a few "HOLY CRAP WHERE'S MY CAP?!" moments when the entire cap and ring have fallen off.2. The pen clip isn't as secure as I would like for it to be. In the beginning, it was movable but firm. Over time, it's become wobbly and will slip around as I'm writing and the way it bumps into my hand just annoys the ever-loving stuffing out of me. I'm not sure why they didn't just have a stationary clip to begin with.I should mention that by "over time" I mean I bought my case in September 2018 and it's January 2019. I've been dealing with these issues since around the end of November, it's just gotten bad/annoying enough that I'm only now looking for a replacement. I would like to say that I'm going to purchase another one of these because I really do enjoy the size of the barrel and the durability of the case overall, however I just can't bring myself to spend $30 every 3-4 months to replace it due to issues with the rubber band and pen clip. If ZSTYLUS would like to come out with an updated version that addresses these issues, I'll be first in line to buy it!!

excellent product
when i ordered this case i was little bit worried about the extra weight the case will add ,but after i used it for a while it’s gets better, other than that everything was awesome, it feels so premium and elegant, i replaced the rubber band they included in the box to keep the cap more protected and more stylish look , i can charge my pencil without any problem even if you have a case on your ipad it won’t be a problem , i attached some pictures so it might be helpful for you .

This is a good idea, but poorly executed
This is a good idea, but poorly executed. The pen keeps slipping and need readjust often. Clip is extremely weak. It is more compact than previous model, but a clicking option would be a whole lot better then the annoying twits. It gets old fast.
