We have a 40 year old (very large) Ash tree in our front yard, close to our sewer pipes. It costs thousands of dollars if roots invade and damage your underground sewer line between the house and the city line. Even with that homeowner coverage, the damages and repairs to your lawn and trees is devestating, which is why, for many years , every fall and early spring when the roots are growing the most actively, I have used Root Killer . Our Sewer line stays clear and our tree continues to thrive. No home owner with large trees near sewer lines, and other underground utilities should neglect this precautionary step. I was a licensed insurance agent for many years and witnessed the devestation for homeowners who did NOT take this precaution, suffer the and damage caused by underground roots.

the sales and delivery of the product was excellent. it is too early to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment. i will reassess in three weeks.

Hard to tell except over extended time whether product works as advertised. Without sophisticated plumbing viewer can't really tell if product is working, but thought it worth a try or several tries over time if it seems to be working.

Helps to keep the roots from growing into the pipe so long as you keep using it as per directions

We have bamboo growing on our property and this causes problems with our sewer lines and having them cleaned is expensive. We treat with this twice a year.

The product arrived within 3 days…I gave it 3 stars because we haven’t been able to use it yet. The directions before we used it said to flush it into the toilet closest to the septic tank. But the papers that came with it said to pour it into the distribution box at your field lines because it’s crystals and it would settle in the tank. So, we’ll able to give a review on how it works after we actually be able to use it.
