I've purchased many Delta trim kits in the past because I own a good amount of rental properties. This will be my last.My plumber was installing this trim kit and after about 10 minutes he turned to me and said "the cartridge on this is defective." He's installed hundreds of these things and he knew right away something was wrong. I called Delta customer service and told them the cartridge was defective, but we had to go through the a laborious troubleshooting process to determine what the issue was. We removed parts, installed parts, adjusted parts, etc. At the end of this process, the rep said "The cartridge is defective." Yeah, we knew that already. He told me to hold on the line while he spoke to his supervisor so he could get me a replacement. Great.A few minutes later the rep came on the line to say "no, it's not defective, the screw was just on too tight." Well, no it wasn't. My plumber at this point was ready to spit nails. It's not like this is the first time he's installed this trim kit and needed a refresher course.I am now paying for a replacement cartridge out of my own pocket that should have been replaced by Delta for free. Can't imagine what kind of money they saved, but they've lost a customer for life. This is the definition of horrible customer service.

I really should've read more reviews about this before ordering. It never occurred to me that my nice, new Delta shower and tub fixtures would arrive and be....plastic. What? Why? The only substantial piece is the lever. The spout, shower head, and lever wall cover are all thin plastic. It's going back.

I absolutely love the Champagne Bronze tone then hate after showering then love after cleaning then hate again. If I want this small bathroom pristine (I do) I have to clean every single day after using - uuuughhhh - urrrr!I can't imagine my newly remodeled super small bathroom with any other tone, but goodness, if you have a choice.... and only due to horrid water spots, you really should reconsider Delta Lahara Series Champagne Bronze color... if the bathroom is used on a daily basis.And to boot, a simple towel wipe will not work, nooooo, in my scenario, I must wipe with Bar Keepers Friend (50/50 water/vinegar may also work, I've not tried).Sorry some pics are sideways, lol, all the same sharing those horrid water spots and new BR so you see my love bc it goes so well then hate, correct?Anyhow, best to you and hope this helps in your decision.

I bought this set and Delta R10000-UNWS mixer for a bathroom remodel. The install of the in wall valve and the faucet/shower was fairly easy and straight forward. The functionality of this setup is excellent. I love that I can pre set the temp because this is in the shower that my kids use. All they have to do is turn the water on. No more hearing that it's too hot or too cold. Also the lever is easier for them to use than the old plastic "crystal" dial we used to have. My only complaint is the finish on this seems to show water spots really bad. We do have hard water but I do not get the same spots on our other fixtures. Because this is in the kids bathroom it's not a huge deal but I would not want to look at the spots in my shower every day

As a professional kitchen and bath remodeler, I have always preferred installing Delta shower valves. Their bracket system makes it very easy to mount the valve body (which was sold separately from this trim kit) and the design of the trim kit is such that significant deviations in mounting depth are tolerated. The bracket mounting system on the valve body makes for a secure, wobble-free installation, important these days when flexible PEX tubing is the norm and you may not be able to rely on rigid copper tube for support. My favorite feature of this particular series is the separate temperature and volume controls. The inner temperature ring can be set and left at the desired temperature and the larger volume lever is used to control the flow of water. This is great for situations where children, the disabled or elderly people may be using the shower and might scald themselves with a standard single handle shower valve. An internal temperature limit stop allows for scald prevention by allowing for the limitation of the maximum amount of hot water in the mix. The unit is pressure balanced: a sudden reduction in hot or cold water pressure will be answered by the limitation of the flow of other temperature water. Output flow will drop but temperature will stay the same.This particular unit came with a nicer standard showerhead than most Delta models. All in all, I highly recommend it. Great value for the money.

I searched Amazon for a Delta shower/tub kit because my plumber recommends this brand to his customers. I liked the price, the shower head functions, Delta's reputation and the positive things that I had read from other customer reviews for this kit. Unfortunately, I did not fully realize HOW much plastic was used in it's manufacturing. I understood the interior parts of the spout are plastic yet I completely missed that the outside faux metal look of the spout is plastic as well. This piece is lightweight and feels like it could crack or break easily. This wasn't the only disappointment for me. I sorted the box contents, looked through the instruction manuals and reread the Amazon product description but couldn't find a list of what should be included in the kit for installation. So I snapped a photo of what I received (w/o the owners manual or installation pamphlet). I'm basically clueless as to whether or not what I received is complete however, it's apparent that 2 screws are missing and almost all of the individual items in my package contents have been previously opened. This was the wrong choice/product for me. I prefer more metal, less plastic and no missing pieces. I am returning this kit, and will find another Delta product to purchase.

I like the variety of spray patterns. It is working very well. Please note it doesn't come with the cartridge. That is a separate purchase.

The value not included was not explained in the documentation. Delta the cost on the side makes it a working unit that should be added to the advertising! It gives you a false price and you have to use your rough in to have a working value.

I really like the product, but had to return the one I got from "warehouse deals". It was a previously opened product that was scratched and gouged. I bought another one brand new and it good.

Very happy ... product looks great, easy to adjust for water temperature.

Like Delta because flow and temperature are controlled separately.Also the temp compensation means no change in temp if someone runs a atop elsewhere in house
