I was looking for white room darkening curtains. These are not room darkening, at least not in white. Maybe other colors are more darkening? That said, I kept them because they are really well-made, and a lovely soft fabric that drapes beautifully. I rated them a 4 only because they weren’t as dark as i had expected. However, quality is definitely there. They were hardly wrinkled when I took them out of the package, and I was able to hang them right up without ironing first. I just sprayed the few existing wrinkles with water and they just pulled out as they dried. The back tabs are also well-constructed so that the hang properly when using the back tab. I’ve bought other back tab curtains, which hung all lopsided or turned downward so they no longer looked pleated. These hung perfectly. And the price was really good— a great bargain for the high quality.

These are very good quality material and construction. They come very nicely folded and packed, I didn't see the need to iron them. I hung them and they hang very elegantly. As for room darkening, they are awesome, the weight and construction is so good it's intuitive that they will be good insulators as well just by feel. It's winter right now and they do cut down cold spots on my sliding door bedroom balcony. I bought them for summer heat mostly so I'll need to wait another 6 months to see how they perform. They come with neatly sewn tie back straps with Velcro. They are definitely worth the money.

Two pairs of lavender curtains are doing a lot to cheer our house up in the bleak winter months. Washed and air-dried them before hanging (to remove chemical sprays if any) and there was no shrinkage at all. Hemlines a tiny bit uneven (i.e., some panels maybe 1/4 inch shorter than the others), but difference is hardly noticeable. Fabric is good, but it may take an iron to remove the lines where the curtains were folded. N.B. Matching curtain ties are great, but watch out for the velcro tabs-- they will snag the material if you're not careful. Love these curtains otherwise.

The media could not be loaded.  Be advised, the khaki color is more like a light cocoa. The beige has a gold tint to it, however the beige worked for me OK due to my wall color. These are not black out curtains but they are close.The fabric is superb, soft and heavy – – a bag of the panels (two) weighs 3.5 pounds. In my case, I had a double window and so I used 4 panels which is 7 pounds total.I first took the curtains out of the package and laid them out on the dining table to check for imperfections, and found none. I did a water spritz lightly over the bend marks from being in the package, and then put them in the dryer on low for about 20 minutes, after which the marks were gone.If you were like me and have to hang two pairs on a long window that has a middle support bracket for a two piece rod, my advice is put the first pair on the longest rod first and rest it on the middle support and end support, and then put the second pair on the shorter rod, rest it on the other end support and while it is resting there guide the rod into the first rod. This way you only have to lift one pair at a time.I recommend Using the tabs instead of the rod pocket, because the fabric is so meaty that you would have difficulty making it look right.OK, I liked these so much that I bought another pai for my dining area.TIP: my curtains are 84” using the tab top and I wanted them open in the daytime and closed at night but I can’t reach the curtain rod. PRESTO! Buy a grab it stick and use it to move the curtains back and forth on the rod. Easy-peasy!

I got the pink and navy blue curtains. The Navy blue ones are fantastic. They block out light perfectly. I knew the pink ones wouldn't as much. I got the pink one after seeing a different review that had shown them fairly blacked out. Well, they aren't. As a matter of fact, they make the room pretty bright. These curtains are great if you want dark curtains to block out light. If you want a lighter curtain, go for it as long as you don't mind light shining in. I plan on trying to find a curtain liner that might darken the room because I want a lighter colored curtain for my daughter's room.

These curtains are very nice beautiful navy blue color. The back tabs are nicely sewn and slide easily on a decorator rod. The material is very soft and nice and I just put them in my dryer on wrinkle tumble for a few minutes and it removed all the crease and they hung beautifully!! Well made, nice soft quality material. It definitely worth the 5 stars!

I ordered the dark green curtains to cover a doorway. I tried using the tabs but I didn't like how they were hanging. I ran a decorator rod through the pocket instead. The green color I received is exactly right. They feel luxurious. I don't much care about light blocking but I do care that you can't see through them. The size was accurate. I wet them with the plant sprayer (water) and put them in the dryer on a low temp cycle. That removed a lot of the wrinkles but not all. They will need ironing. I consider my project a complete success.

Living on the west coast the sun is up alot and these curtains keep it nice and dark until I'm ready. I love the tie backs as well. Bought the yellow and it is not a bright yellow, it gives me a 70s vibe. They are perfect.

The platinum white is not black out (see picture- there’s even blinds half drawn underneath and totally not blackout) so they should not be sold as black out BUT excellent price, love the color and will buy again as I don’t specifically neeeed black out. Excellent value and a very nice feeling product.

Got these on sale and at the time they were the cheapest set of 2 blackout curtains available (often they are sold in sets of one panel, but these have two) and I'm pretty happy with them. They won't keep out every bit of light and make the room pitch black unless they are used with a blind (I am currently using them with a paper blind), but they still make the room pretty dark on their own.Honestly, they are not the best type of fabric for looks and can look a little cheap from close up, but at a distance they look great and surprisingly the fabric is very thick and well-sewn. They are a good size and very long (I later trimmed them to not cause a hazard for my baseboard heaters) when you trim them the edge doesn't fray, so that's a bonus too.The colour is true to the picture and I went for that colour because of the price (different colours are sometimes on sale so click around to get the best deal), the blue really helps block out the sun even more. Please ignore the mess in my pictures, I was putting away laundry! Would buy again.Note: The tie-backs are velcro, but I don't bother with them.

Inaccurate colour description and photo. As you can see form my photo and the white paper in comparison to the fabric, the ‘star white’ is more of a very pale grey. Not at all what I wanted and the product photo shows a pure white.You can also see the stitching is white whereas the fabric is not. I have it a 3 star rating because of the colour discrepancy and that it seems quite thin, holding it up to the light it didn’t have the blackout effect it should in my opinion. A shame really :(
