Linon Sadie Navy Blue Modern Classic Side Storage Desk

This desk is great for a small space. The blue finish looks exactly as show online and the silver drawer pulls set off the blue nicely. Drawers glide well and the desk doesn't feel flimsy at all. Assembly was easy.

I purchased this desk to be my vanity to replace a smaller one that no longer filled my needs. I needed a piece that was narrower in depth than most desks because of the location -so that reduced the number of options considerably.I do love the beautiful blue color and it really stands out against the pretty silver hardware.The piece is truly lovely to look at! It works well with my decor.As far as assembly- it went smoothly and my husband had no serious issues. All pieces were present in the box.Here's the skinny on why I deducted two stars...First- the drawers stick and do not glide smoothly at all. It's quite noticeable. They will work, but it takes a bit of a tug to get them open. And I do not mean just one of them-all of them have this issue.Secondly, The drawers to not extend to the full depth of the desk. They are smaller than expected. I would say that they are approximately 2/3rds of the depth of the unit. This was a big disappointment for me!Thirdly, while the desk does not have a glossy finish (I would call it somewhere between satin and matte) it shows every single smudge, speck of dust or mark of any kind. I find I have to clean it after every use to keep it looking nice. Since I am using it as a vanity where I put on moisturizer and makeup-it looks a mess if i don't keep up on it.Finally, I think the finish is a bit fragile. I am not generally hard on furniture. Especially case goods. This desk already has a small chip in the finish on the edge of one drawer and I have only had it for two months. Consequently, I do have doubts about its longevity.I will try to remember to update this review after some time but these are my initial thoughts on the product.

I thought bottom drawer would hold hsnging files but it doesnt. But color and size are perfect.

The structure of the entire desk has nice quality, I was expecting more of an ikea quality, it’s definitely a step above. Our eldest son put this together for me without any issues. The drawers glide smoothly and the desk feels sturdy. Time will tell about durability, although I feel if well taken care of, it will do just fine.

Works great if your looking for a smaller desk that offers good storage

This is a good desk and the best price was on Amazon. I’m around 5 feet tall so there is enough leg room and I just use a stool to sit on. Even with a computer there is still enough room to work and store paper work and decorative items. The drawers are perfect for me to contain my books and office supplies. But like others have said the largest drawer does not have rails for files so that may be pretty inconvenient for some.
