First off, the kids LOVE this addition to their hoverboard. It's definitely a way to get a bit more fun and variety from an existing toy. It was easy to put together and has help up to rough and tumble kid usage. I wouldn't hesitate purchasing again.Here are a few details, you might want to consider:We purchased this for use with the Razor Hovertrax 2.0. It fits fine. This is about as small of a hoverboard as you'd want to use because we have the seat collapsed as far as it goes and there is still a small bit of room to spare, though we can cinch the straps down tight enough that it works okay.The straps have left some minor cosmetic damage on the hoverboard from rubbing, but nothing major.The hoverboard runs through its batteries MUCH faster using this. It's not that there is an issue with the seat itself, it's just that it's easier to consistently go much faster while seated, so the hoverboard itself uses up more charge. Just something to be aware of.It does take a little getting used to the hand controls (essentially differential steering), and it took a couple of our younger kids a little bit of time to figure it out. And because it is easy to go really fast without meaning to on this, we were careful to stay right with them at first.Bonus tip: If you have a particularly adventurous kiddo, it IS possible to pop a wheelie and ride it that way indefinitely if they get the balance right!

Not the easiest to put together. The instructions were not clear, but we figured it out. My kid loves it and plays with the hover board more often. Has a heavy weight limit and the length can be extended for years of use.

My seven year old got a hoverboard for Christmas and asked for a seat for his birthday (less than a month later). After comparing a bunch, this was on sale, so we chose it.The instructions are wonky, but my hubs figured it out. It's heavy, so start your weight lifting regimen to be prepared to carry it when the board dies. Also, I'd go ahead and buy two if you have more than one kid, because they fight over riding it, so to save the headache buy two.I wish the knob to adjust the length was easier to do, but otherwise it's a good choice. My son keeps saying it's his favorite present.
