My son went on an extended pirates kick earlier this year and decided he wanted to distribute pirate valentines to his preschool classmates. In the age of Pinterest momming, I had no choice but to get creative. These little treasure chests were the perfect size to hold a fun-sized pack of gummy bears and fit wonderfully inside a 4x6 treat bag with a homemade valentine stuffed behind. They look super cool and the patina adds a lot of character to the product. Instead of looking cartoonish, it looks like it belongs in a miniature Pirates of the Caribbean. Unfortunately, the pirate water scent was not included (IYKYK).

These are awesome! I ordered a set of 50 and then another set of 32 as they were very popular at our event. Compared to other similar ones, I think these are definitely worth the larger size (many on here are about 1.5" length and these are 2.3"). As someone else mentioned, they could hold 2 fun size candy bars. For my purpose, they were able to fit 5 chocolate coins and still close completely. Super cute and reasonably priced!

I used these treasure boxes for Sunday School. I taped a banner "Jesus is my treasure" to the front of the treasure box. Then I took a headshot clipart picture of Jesus' face and taped it to a gold glitter cut out from a scrapbooking sheet. I place it in the treasure box. The kids were very excited when they opened the box and found the pic of Jesus with the glittered background.

These are a great size. Make sure you read the product description as these do not come with the coins or jewels. One of my boxes had this random hole in it but otherwise I’m excited to give these to my students.

As expected, I had tiny small gold bars in these for the nieces and nephews ....worked great

It says 50, but there were only 32. They are plastic, snap closed well, are pretty small. But they look ok.

These were absolutely perfect for children to use to collect and store their play gold coins and gems that they dug out from the containers of dirt in the gospel themed children's activity.

My students loved the pirate gift. I was able to fit small gifts into each one.
