This is a "tube" style light, but it's a little different. There is a flat window on one side of the aluminum channel that the light comes out of, so pretty much all the light goes in one direction, 180 degrees in front of this window with none of it going behind the light. This can be useful for color or accent lighting where you want all the light to go in one direction. Other "tube" style lights have round diffusers and send out a wider beam of light.These lights can be used to light a subject or to provide washes of color on the walls behind your subject to make the room look more interesting. You can also use them for lighting a green screen behind your subject.Unlike some lights, the RGB color is not continuously adjustable. You get a choice of 9 colors and can dim them.In addition to the light you get a folding light stand and ballhead to make it easy to position the light where you want it. The stand is pretty lightweight, but then so is this light so the stand is strong enough to hold it. Just don't try to use the stand for a heavier light.I have brighter lights but these are enough for many uses where you don't need a powerhouse of a light. What makes these lights a good value is that they are longer, produce a softer light than small lights, include a lightstand and send all the light in one direction.

I am a photographer and I graduate from college this Friday! Since I can’t quite afford the top-notch equipment quite yet, I opted to give this one a go. I was very impressed with the versatility in colors, the amount of dim and brightness setting, and I love that this comes with a remote! It’s also great that you have the option to use the light both on and off of the tripod (which is provided with the light). The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the battery doesn’t last as long as I would have hoped. This isn’t a major issue, as I find I only need it for specific shots that don’t require it’s use for all that long. I do appreciate that you can charge its battery with a cord. I would say this is a great beginner LED light strip, it does everything I need it to do, and if you are looking for one on a budget, this should be the one you go with!

Super nice quality lighting. Easy to assemble a d is wireless. Comes with a charging cord, charge up fully, then turn on. Has tons of light settings and a remote so you can change settings while doing a shoot. Has a stand that is adjustable to many heights from shirt to super tall and has a ball hinge to bend light in all directions. Very good price for the quality, Highly Recommend.

I use this light when I'm doing event photography and I can hold it in one hand and shoot with the other. The light is so good for those dark situations. Highly recommend it. I'm looking for a more powerful light, but this one is a good starter light. I bought two of them so I could do two colors at once. Fun to get creative with these.

As stated in the headline "Any LED Remote will Work" unless that is not what you are trying to do. It does get frustrating when attempting to work with a specific device but this device reacts to the remote control of another device. I guess its all in perspective.

Got this for my daughter who is a lash artist, it’s compact and perfect for her intended use. Unfortunately only the light fits in the carrying case so she uses the box it came in to take it to appts. I was under the impression that the light and stand would be in the travel bag. Otherwise it’s a great light! UPDATE: The light shuts off after 10 minutes of use. The battery suddenly doesn’t hold a charge & it’s not even 2 months old. Now too late to return it, so I now have a $70 stand with a 10 minute light.

Im very critical of technology and I don't buy cheap things ever. This is a lot of bang for your buck. The quality is great. The stands serve their purpose and are taller than me. Im 6’3” and I cam stand under it and get great video shots. Very easy to move around and charge. I think they might last an hour or two on a single charge. The colors look great btw and the best part is you can buy two and bounce opposing colors off one another to get more colors!!! I will probably buy more

A piece of junk.1)The lamp comes with a USB cable but not the end part to plug it on the electrical outlet. Therefore, you have to spend more money to get one to use the lamp unless you plug it into your computer.2) The lamp does not pull electricity to stay on. The cable only charges the lamp, so even if it is plugged in the electrical outlet, it will turn off after the battery charge dies.3) The holds charge for less than 30 minutes, and then it turns off or goes very dim. In other words, it is useless for any work.4) The light is not bright enough.* The good thing is that if you are looking for a very soft light or a lamp with several colors, it is okay.I do not recommend it at all.
