I have the buffeting issue on my 2022 Street Glide Special. Was told a better curved windshield would help. Bought this before buying other expensive windshields to see if it would help. It installed very easily and everything lined up just right. Test ride it and same issue. Upon riding and doing some investigating, the airflow from down by the front tire goes between my legs and up over the tank area and right into my face area causing the buffeting. If I raise my legs/knees up like a crotchrocket (knees up higher) the wind vibration stops. Absolutely nothing wrong with the windshield or with installation. If anything, the look of the 7” that I ordered does look a little better than the stock shorty windshield. I ordered the smoke and it’s very close to the stock tinted windshield color. Good quality. Requires a bit of manipulating due to the mounting holes being a bit off but not bad at all

I ordered this windshield and was impressed with the quality, however I sent it back due to the fact that it didn’t spread the width of the fairing like the stock windshield, it was about an 1/8 to a1/4 inch short on both sides left and right sides. Now some people may not see that as an issue however the fairing has a seal around the edges to keep rain water from going down inside where the wiring is so that gap leaves an opening for water to eventually cause issues. Now to be perfectly honest here, the fairing is not 100% water proof but it is about 95% water proof due to that seal, leave a gap and you’ll end up having issues. It’s even noticeably short

Fits perfect. Just enough height that I wanted from stock. Came packaged well.
