Spiceology - Habanero Powder - Ground Dried Habanero Pepper - Use it for: Hot Sauces, Salsa, Chilis, Meat and Vegetables - 16 oz

We used to buy dried habaneros and grind them up for our dishes. But since our move to humid Florida, the peppers become soft no matter what we store them in.This spice replaces this peppers. Habaneros really have a great flavor. For people who don’t like as much heat, the spice amount can be lessened providing the flavor with a little less heat. But, make no mistake this is not cyan, it is hot!

It's actually hot. It's real and conveys the flavor and heat of fresh habanero. Pricey as is all stuff from Spiceology though.

I love spice. My wife would say it’s a problem. I have an entire cabinet in the kitchen just for all my sauces and another section in the fridge. The price is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. If it were cheaper it would be 5. I understand why it’s this expensive since the price of peppers change based off the harvest. It tastes great, well simple like habanero which is exactly what I wanted from this. I’m not a fan of the mixed spices because sometimes they overdo the salt or pepper or whatever and it takes away from the habanero. Even though it’s pricey keep in mind you don’t need much. My spice tolerance is very high and just a sprinkle on my bagels, pasta, pizza, etc. gets the job done.

Bought this spice for kicking up taco night a few notches. Great for chili, BBQ, sauces, and whatever you prefer with heat. I would use for cooking only, and not so much for a shake on to finished food, too hot! Container was so big I shared with my daughter, son, and I made a separate bottle to keep at the camper. Pricey, but no regrets, because the HEAT is definitely there.

Spiceology doesn't seem to have sales too often, so I typically grab a few of these every other Black Friday (my target price is ~$45). It is very potent - I put a decent amount on my food, but for anyone else willing to try it, I tell them to start with a dab, and that is usually too much for them.Even though I put it on 95% of the food I eat, the container seems to last me around a year. I even carry around small containers of it for when I go to restaurants since unfortunately no one seems to have a truly spicy menu, even when they advertise 'Ghost Pepper' or 'Reaper'. I will continue to buy this for the foreseeable future!

Tasty but got damn its hot. Like hotter that a raw habanero. It hotter that 4 polyamorous rats having an orgy in 5 layers of wool socks in the inner circle of hell. 10/10 would recommend!

Habanero powder was nice and hot and was bought at a fair price. What's not to like.

I only wish it was cheaper, I've been putting this stuff on everything. Still need to try the smokey honey I got,but that's for grilling season lol
