This head torch was given as a gift and it really was the gift that they never knew they needed.Ideal as a gift and multipurpose... Can be used when doing jobs, walking the dog especially now the winter nights are setting in and used for all sorts of other purposes.Can be set to permanently on or using a sensor function which is ideal. There are 2 levels of brightness for each light function. If memory serves correctly they cannot be used together but considering how bright they are that wouldn't be necessary. The battery life is great but of course, does depend on the light used and the brightness.I was slightly concerned when worn it would feel a little heavy on one side due to the placement of the charging port, power button and sensor block to one side but in reality once on you cannot really tell the difference.It was £15.99 at the point of purchase and still is but I see has a 5% voucher at the time of writing so even better value... Knowing how many batteries some head torches use this could save you a fortune, is probably brighter even on the lesser setting and with the lack of battery disposal better for the environment... Better all-around really!

I'm so glad I took a punt and bought this, it's a brilliant head torch! The 'wide beam' strip light shines a warm, bright light much wider than the standard single bulb head torches. It really is perfect for hands free work in the dark and made my work in the attic much more pleasant, I have to say. You can adjust the brightness and there's even a spotlight function if you need it. Easy to recharge via USB, another bonus. Highly recommended!

As an elderly person inclined to fall in the dark, this has been a little lifesaver. Certainly the best head torch ever, it gives all round light even at the sides where trip hazards lie. I loved it so much I bought them for my family this Christmas...but don't tell them yet.

What a great idea, this seems to work really well such that my son-in-law who has it as a present, wouldn't take it off!I don't know about battery life etc as we have not used it enough yet

Does not hold a charge. Keeps cutting out. Poor construction and a terrible battery. I am an electrical engineer and in my opinion this is junk, avoid.

I bought this for a few tasks round the house whilst I switched off the light mains. I’ve ended up using it whilst working on the car and even while painting. The different modes are great. Highly recommended.

It is very good for home to use. And its very bright and light , its easy to carry . Its a perfect stuff , my highly recommendtion.
