First time ordering these. I have always overnight soaked for 12 hours and then cooked my black beans in a pressure cooker and they are always perfect. Until now. These are way undercooked(basically inedible) using that method so I added 7 extra minutes to the original 12 and it’s as if I didn’t add any extra time. I will be tossing these and never buying again. I do use other items from this brand without any issues.

Not much for broken beans, seems good in that respect

How can you go wrong with 10#s of black beans? I'm a black bean brownie junkie, not that I need 10#'s of beans to make brownies but if you need to they can be used for other recipes also, I guess. But seriously this is a great price on organic and with 10#'s the bag last a while. Being a barging bottom line shopper I end up with a lot of bulk iteams. The price was so good I couldn't afford not to purchase them.

the beans are easy to cook. and they have a great taste. i made a black bean stew that is called fijoin. its a brazilian dish. with these beans, it came out amazing.

To be fair, I didn’t actually eat these (used for a sensory table for preschool) but they were packaged great and seemed high quality.

I bought a large bag, 5 lbs and dried, as we will be making Black Bean Burgers. Recipes for these Vegan Burgers look so yummy! They are also Sproutable for extra nutrition, Non-GMO (so no glysophate) and organic. That is a big win for our health!

They are delicious when added to the black bean soup I have discovered. Very tasty and they go pretty far.
