Ordered this for my 88 year old mother as she was having trouble getting on and off the loo even though she is only short.She insisted on one with a lid and I suggested one with handle.Very easy to fit and she is very happy withThe handles have a choice of 2 sideways positions but no height adjustments.Fixing handles that screw up grip well but need strong hands to tighten up/undoVery happy with the product, and would recommend.

Well made and does the job but it’s pretty unstable if you’re not careful getting up again. Fixings are quite poor and slip on the porcelain. I’m recovering from knee surgery and am ok using it but I wouldn’t trust it for anyone frail or an elderly person living alone.

Really good product. I was a bit concerned at first that it wasn't sturdy enough as there's a bit of wobble on the arms. But it stood the test of time while we needed it, bearing probably 8-9 stone in weight, and was easy to assemble. An absolute godsend!

I bought this for my mum and need to return it. Decent quality but the design is not totally secure and caused her to fall off whilst trying to use the handles to get up. The fixings to the toilet could be better, maybe another at the front or maybe longer grips that don't slip would make it a better product?

Easy to assemble and looks great but, the plastic clamps are well : Plastic. This means the grip on porcelain isn't great (maybe if they were stainless steel it would be better?). Anyway you have to be very careful not to put any extra pressure on on either of the arms as this will tip the seat over, as I said the plastic clamps do not grip very well. In fairness this is mentioned in the product description but a small difference in pressure does make the seat unstable.

Excellent raised toilet seat, very easy to assemble. Very sturdy and good value for money. This is my second purchase as I've used it on two toilets.

Purchased this following bilateral total hip replacement. My toilet seat was too low and there was no room between my toilet and wall to put an NHS toilet seat with frame. Amazon Prime to the rescue and this was delivered next day.The integrated handles solved the space issue in my bathroom and used properly, putting one hand on each handle together, enabled me to go to the toilet unaided.This was essential for my post-op recovery and worth every penny! I would thoroughly recommend it.
