I used this on a tent for water repellency. I will have to say it worked out well. Went camping in the Eastern Sierra's and went through a week of intense thunderstorms. The tent stayed dry on the inside and no moisture seeped through. Like other's have said, there is a strong kerosene smell when you apply the product. The smell did go away after a few days out in the open air.

I have used Scotchgard for several years now to protect the cushions of my outdoor furniture. I am pleased how it repels the rain and keeps my cushions looking great. It is easy to use; just spray it evenly across the fabric material and let it dry. It will repel the rain fabulously.
