Roaring Spring Environotes Recycled Notebook, 70 Sheets, 9.5" x 6", College Ruled, 1 Subject Notebook, Assorted Earthtone Cover Colors

I have been using these notebooks for a couple of years now and just came onto Amazon to re-order my next. The perfect size for my daily to do lists, fits in my handbag, heavy duty cover. Just great every day notebooks. Love that they are made from recycled sugarcane.

So far not the best. The pages are thinner, or something, than the previous notebook I was using. You can see how it looked coming through the page of the old notebook (last picture), which is to say noticeable but not as bad as this new notebook. For this one, not only did the pen bleed through to the back of the page pretty bad, it also bled through to the next page (red). So I will need to find different accessible (for tendonitis) pens to use with this notebook so it wont bleed through. I like the spiral binding style, though I think the "wire" is plastic. The covers are nice and thick.

Better than expected. Weights of paper, front and back cover are quite good. Paper feels a little smoother than I thought I would like, but writing on it with a roller ball is no problem. No bleed through to the other side at all. Marked Made in USA. Maybe not a good choice for transporting in a backpack or purse because of the risk of mangling the spiral binding but it will be very good at my desk or kitchen table. Far superior to a Made in China-basic-back to school sale spiral notebook for sure. If you want a decent lined notebook for not much money you should try this one!

I don't know why it is near impossible to find a notebook with non-perforated pages, like this one has. Do people normally tear out the pages they write in a notebook, or not mind when they fall out after a couple of months of hard use, like carrying it around taking notes? I _really_ don't get it.Anyway, that's the main reason I buy this notebook. The pages don't fall out. The fact that's it's currently one of the least expensive 9.5x6" notebooks on Amazon is a bonus. Only downside is there are only 70 sheets.

I love this little notebook for letter writing. Being one of the last holdouts on actually writing a letter I love the weight of the paper and how it makes my handwriting look better. I wish I really beautiful handwriting but a good pen and good paper can really make a difference. I just love this notebook. I've already bought several more once I received this one.

I got the 9.5" X 6" notebook. I use it to write down my thoughts after I finish reading a book (so a reading journal). I think the quality and cost is excellent for what I need.I didn't get a choice in the color. I received an earthy red, which is fine, and at this price it was fine not choosing my color. I'm thrilled that it's made in the USA. I worry about poor working conditions when I buy things from China and places like that.

The amazon description says its paper is made from "30% sugarcane fiber and 70% post consumer waste" but, all the product itself says is "Paper made from 100% sustainable fiber", which is the type of wording used by large paper companies when referring to paper from trees "grown sustainably". If this paper truly consists of only sugarcane fiber & post-consumer waste, why does it not say this on the product itself?

I went to Staples specifically looking for a recycled notebook and the only ones I could find were writing pads that came in packs of 5 or more. I really like this notebook and the fact that it's eco-friendly and responsibly sourced.The pages are a little narrower than I'd thought, but it works great for me.

Sugarcane paper saves over 60,000 acres of forest each year.Most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this paper and the virgin college ruled paper we're all so familiar with.I only wish we could choose the colour of the cover. But at least they're muted and earth tones, so nothing over the top.

Ordered 2 80 page notebooks, 2 70 page notebooks came in with separate orders. Missing 20 pages of product

I needed a notebook and wanted the environmental aspect of this book. Sadly it arrived with the back piece of cardboard badly bent and falling apart. Return happened, smoothly.
