Thick padding, similar to an ironing board but vertical use.
Traveled with this recently and used it for several steaming sessions, to include my daughter's wedding dress and my mother of the bride dress. Worked great

Makes it easier to iron!
they have truly been a game-changer for my garment steaming routine! These heat-resistant mitts are incredibly effective at protecting my hands from steam burns while allowing me to maneuver with precision. The gloves are comfortable to wear, and their flexible design makes it easy to smooth out wrinkles on all types of fabrics. I also appreciate how well they complement my garment steamer, making the whole process faster and safer.

Very handy gadget! Nearly 5 stars. Worked great for hung curtains.
This is a handy little gadget! I tried steaming sheer curtains with these that unfortunately got very wrinkled after washing & drying on delicate. I think maybe due to the curtain being less quality ones? They look great, they were just the cheaper W brand (I replaced Ecru sheers with White). I've never had the wrinkle problem before with our old sheers I purchased (from JCP) years ago, I often hung them damp out of the wash which worked great. The material dries very quickly. If I dried them. I usually take them right out if I used the dryer, fold & lay over a chair & they were fine. I had to hang these new ones up quickly for privacy wrinkles and all, (we had just gotten new windows installed), I just didn't have time to wash them all again. I just didn't this time & threw them in the wash and dryer so they were ready when the windows were done. They looked pretty wrinkly getting them out of the wash but I thought the wrinkles would work themselves out in the dryer. Nope. I thought well maybe they would work them selves out hanging up..NOPE I did not feel like taking them all down and starting over. The professional clothing steamer I had did not do much at all. I order this and used it with a regular iron on steam with the curtain still hanging on the windows.. It worked well. It really helped to sandwich the curtains between the two, gliding down the curtains to press the wrinkles out. I started at the top & worked my way down the sheer curtains. It took some time, patience & a little sweating 😄 steaming & ironing 14 panels, some a lot worse than others.. but it worked great! With the iron on the steam setting you do feel some of that heat through the glove & mostly around the edge on you hand, if you use a surge of steam, enough to make you.. oooooh! & pull your hand away! Be careful to not scorch yourself. I don't know if it is designed for steam use. I did not actually burn myself at all though If there was some sort of silicone layer sandwiched in there and maybe some around the edges of the mesh you slide your hand into to protect you hands a little more, or the pad itself a bit wider that would be great. The pad did discolor a bit from the heat of the iron but ironing boards do that as well, so that's not that big of a deal to me. With 24 panels total (the 14 I've finished down stairs & 10 that still need to get done upstairs), that do not all have to be taken down off the windows, washed & or dried again & hung back up on all the windows. I'd say this was well worth the money! I may purchase a backup 😊

Love this steaming glove!
Great quality and it works perfectly when steaming items that have corners, sleeves, etc. It doesn’t get hot and is the perfect shield from the steam. Easy to put on and take off! I love it.

Not useful for steaming
I had high hopes for this and sadly it was disappointing. Its very stiff difficult to use that it made it impossible to steam while using. The clothes kept creasing. Its mostly cardboard so I don’t recommend.

Great for travelers who don’t like wrinkly clothes
I travel everywhere with this and my small handheld iron/steamer. It’s great for if certain fabrics don’t like the wrinkle release spray (ie. Bright colored Satin). Allows for quick ironing and great heat absorption quality! I don’t feel a thing on the other side of the garment. Designed really well with a finger and whole hand holder!
