3QT Enamel Cast Iron Dutch Oven with Loop Handles, Covered Dutch Oven, Enamel Stockpot with Lid, Red

I own a couple of cast-iron pots I inherited from my Mom but they are all 5 quarts. I enjoy cooking in cast-iron but needed a smaller size, since mostly I am cooking for just 2 people these days. This fits the bill. The red color is deep and rich and the size is perfect for cooking side vegetables to go with my main dish. I have cooked everything from meat to popcorn in the pot and it has done a great job with everything except the popcorn. Maybe it is the enamel coating that makes the popcorn not cook as well because popcorn cooks great in my regular cast iron pots and skillets. The pot washes up nicely except when cooking a cheese dish. I made macaroni and cheese in it and it was very difficult getting the cheese washed out of the pop. It was not burned and I actually cooked the dish on top of the stove instead of baking it. Finally, got it clean with much elbow grease. All-in-all, this is a great pot and I would recommend it to anyone. I must note that the pot is heavy. I have arthritis and some days, it can be a challenge to wash because of its heaviness. But it is still worth the purchase.

Nothing to dislike! It is perfect! I love the ease of stove top to oven. Bakes everything perfectly golden. I have changed out every Teflon pan in the house for these! My first edition pots are over 16 years old and still going strong!

A little heavy but love the color and quality easy to clean

I love the color. It’s so pretty. It seems to heat evenly. It is heavy, but not as heavy as others I’ve lifted. It’s nice you can touch the lid handle and you won’t get burned. It was easy to clean. It cooked the food well and evenly. What I didn’t like was it kept sliding around on my stove top. I have a glass top. I had to hold it while I was stirring stuff. Which I had to use the little pot mits that came with it. That’s the only thing I didn’t like. Also the directions are not as thorough as I’d like on seasoning it. Luckily there is another review in here that said how she did it. So, I followed her instructions. This is my first Dutch oven. I’m hoping it last awhile. For the price I am very pleased with its performance.

Bought this for my daughter for her birthday in August. I have one also that she always compliments it. So what better gift to give her.

I bought this for my sourdough bread! I love it. The color is great and my bread bakes so well in it. The price was good too.
