If you are learning how to play the Bass, this is a great option. Neck feels good and the pick ups sound decent. You get a feel for both a precision pick up and a jazz pick up. Build quality is decent as well. Better than I expected. So good starter bass. You don't need anything better to start off with.

My son is very happy with his bass guitar and amp. The bass is very good for a beginner. The customer service from the seller is outstanding. FedEx lost the first bass guitar and amp. The seller quickly shipped a replacement bass and amp. The product is shipped in a box that says Fender on the outside. Just be aware of that if your package is delivered and left unattended, it is not sent where you have to sign for it or be home to accept delivery.
