EZ Application; Great Results
I found this product to be priceless. Really.First, a word about my particular application. I have a very large and heavily framed print (nearly 35 lb). It was my desire to place it over my fireplace---but how? I called several mason/fireplace centers without success. I word searched my concern on the internet, using terms such as DIY hanging pictures on fireplaces. The suggestions were "easy" but complex for a person of limited experience and of few tools. I wanted a secure, drill less method.I found out about brick clamps and the hunt was on. Again the mason/fireplace centers had not heard of them and even Home Depot does not sell them. But what about Amazon? Aha! Amazon to the rescue. And with several choices! Well this particular product was my choice. The clamps went on in less than a minute each. The real task was placement: determining what height level of bricks and which bricks. My picture hangs by wire. A little common sense and one readjustment was required. Quickly, the heavy picture was hung securely. Given the picture's cost ($400.00) I didn't want it to come crashing down......it clearly won't.The entire job took less than 3o minutes. An unexpected bonus is that the picture hangs flatly against the fireplace brick, rendering the overall look very professional.A last comment on the product: You may be puzzled by the word "springs" in the product description. I was. The product picture isn't overly clear. The bottom of the clamps has flanges of tension steel----these simply are pulled downwardly and placed under and into the 1/4 inch deep mortar. These are the "springs (for tight gripping). When the clamp is released, the flanges "spring back" to their manufactured position and thus hold the brick clamp in place in conjunction with the clamps top portion (teeth).Size matters!I emphasize that picking which clamp size to buy is critical. There are three standard brick sizes and thus three brick clamp sizes. A tight fit is required! Another reviewer discussed this important issue very well and so I will not repeat that discussion. I do wish to note that all brick clamps allow for some variation in brick height but not for brick (inset) "depth". 1/4 inch inset is needed to insert the clamp and thus for the brick clamp to hold securely. Just be sure you know your brick ht and know you have the sufficient depth (1/4 inch) to permit use of this wonderful product or alternative brick clamps of a different size. If you measure your brick and thus select the correct brick clamp, you will be amazed and happy. I am.

Ok if you are familiar with the a,
I found instructions for installation limited. Ended up breaking on of the lower fins quite easily. Finally figured it out.

Sturdy!
This item was the perfect solution to hanging items on our back porch brick walls. They easily "snap" into place and can hold a significant amount of weight.

Worked Great on my brick wall!
I had orginally ordered brick clips that were slightly smaller that did not work on my brick wall. So I ordered these 2 3/4" size and they are perfect. Hung a large picture in a place I'd never been able to put anything. A great problem solver.

Perfect for hanging Christmas lights on brick.
We bought a new home and have brick above the front door. I had some very heavy lighted garland that I always hang around the front door. At first I thought I was going to have to keep them in the box, then I found these Brick Clips. They worked perfect! Be sure you measure the height of the brick. We bought a set at Lowes that was too small. These were the perfect size. If your brick mortar is not deep enough, you may have to chisel a little away to get a snug fit. Love these !!!

Does not fit 2.75 Inch Bricks
My bricks are 2.5-2.75 inches and these had to be absolutely crammed onto the smaller of my bricks.By bending the prongs and biting into the brick/mortar itself, I can squeeze these on my smaller bricks, but really wish these were sized appropriately. :(They seem to be of good quality otherwise, but I'm not going to be able to get much use out of them.

Five Stars
These are great for hanging things on a brick house. I really did not want to drill holes into the brick and after using google to hopefully find another solution, I found these! I'm not sure about the weight limit but I have hung some good sized stars on them and has held up for the last year. Very pleased with these and what a great way to save the brick from ugly drill holes

Fantastic Product!
I wish I would have discovered these years ago! I finally can hang Christmas stockings and a wreath above my fireplace! I originally ordered the standard size to fit over my 2.5" bricks but when I couldn't get those to work, I ordered these "queen size" ones which did the trick.
