Single frequency 80m-10m end-fed half-wave linear antenna provides antenna. It is designed as a highly portable wired antenna that can easily be set up as an inverted-V, horizontal, tilted or vertical radiator (in the case of higher frequencies). Your feeder is basically balanced, so there is no need for a separate feeder. The high impedance half wave line is matched to your 50 ohm feed point via an integrated impedance matching toroidal transformer and is rated for 10 watts. Using a high voltage capacitor with a specific radiator length on the primary of the transformer further expands and reduces the SWR in the range of 80m-10m. It is designed to be used without a tuner. After optimizing the driving components, the standing wave ratio of any part of the frequency band is ≤1.2. 1. Impedance: 50 ohms

great tool
1.2 SWR with properly tuned length. I used welder’s wire 20’ up a palm tree for 2-700+ mile contacts on 5 watts KO4YLW…73

Worked incredibly well!
Really please with this product! I trimmed the antenna for 20M WSPR and ran 100mw with really good results. It's nice and small and really portable so I'll be taking it into the field for further testing. Would recommend.

Great Price
Works great on my FT-891.

Light weight
I just turned this into my 40 meter QRP stealth antenna for portable work. I used 26awg stealth antenna wire of 65 feet, then cut it back to acheive a resonant EFHW antenna.I just wish the "winder" was mire like \__/ so I can wrap in a figure 8.

Excellent quality and great results!
This thing and a piece of wire has made my Icom 705 a POTA machine. From north Georgia contacts from Alaska to south/central America are being made, plus quite decently local. So far used it for 6m, 20m, 40, 80m...and even had a decent match at 2m for local repeater ragchew. For testing purposes, I hit it with about 40 watts on 80m ssb during a Saturday night 807 net. No problems, but not recommended. Thanks QRP Guys!

Total crap
Toroid was wound incorrectly and with bare copper wire, no less. Totally useless. If its a real toroid perhaps it can be rebuilt. Just pass on this “Eed Half Wava Antenna” and get the actual QRPGuys product.

Worked well for QRP radio.
Nice for mobile QRP rig.
