This was sort of a spontaneous buy, but I'm very pleased with the results! The lighting is great and the moon looks quite realistic in the dark. My cats were a bit spooked out by the floating and rotating lol. If you have the budget for something extra, I'd recommend this lamp!

Don’t let the price tag sway you from determining whether or not this will be worth it as a gift because it is now the center of my child’s “space” themed room night light and I couldn’t be happier with the in person appearance and operation. Some things to note; it always needs to be powered into the wall in order to levitate properly. The power button cycles 3 colors of light (blood moon, bright white moon, and soft yellow moon). The textures of the surface shine brilliantly making you believe you have hand picked the actual star from the sky and brought it inside. The magnet is strong and if not positioned properly will pull the bottom of the light harshly crashing into the powered base. The spinning cannot be stopped but you can slow it a little. The cord is plenty long and uses a standard US wall outlet. This is the perfect night light. My plan is to mount it on a platform a little higher in the corner of the room to almost emulate the same feeling when we look up at night into the sky and see the wondrous beauty reflecting back down onto us, but out of reach!

The media could not be loaded.  Okay, title aside, when you open this box, you’re going to be a little disappointed. It’s only temporary, I promise. This exciting, mesmerizing light of wonder looks so boring and clunky when it’s not floating and not lit up. When I opened my box, I wasn’t too thrilled and thought maybe the light was too good to be true.BUT once you plug that bad boy in? You may never look away. I love the moon - I love this lamp. It’s realistic; it’s got depth and craters! All of this is 360 and you get to see all of the moon’s texture as it slowly spins.It has 3 lighting settings - you can also opt to just the moon float with no lights (again, it’s not as exciting this way).The base it’s on is also very nice. It’s made of plastic but the wood grain look realistic enough. The bottom of the moon is visibly a magnet and doesn’t have all the fun texture - but it’s easy to overlook and at least, you’ll never have to figure which way is up.Something like this would be fantastic for a child as a night light or for an adult, honestly. It’s also an awesome conversation starter - people gasp in shock and awe when they see this in my office.

The media could not be loaded.  This moon lamp looks really cool, but it spins too fast. I wish I could make it spin very slowly or not spin at all. It’s distracting in the room and I wish it was more calming/slow. You can turn off the light, but there is no way to turn off the spin without unplugging it. The touch switch only works for light.It is packaged well in foam and a box for gifting.

How about bringing moon into your bedroom, yes exactly you can do that with this. Loved the way it looked like a real moon sitting on top of my headboard near my bed. You need to be patient to balance it for few mins and once you got a hang of how to balance it’s quite easy. If you are going to keep it on you don’t have to do it again and again.Nice thing that you can change colors as well but I liked the natural white color like in my pics. Overall am very impressed. My husband got this for our 3 year old daughter who's obsessed with "Luna". This is a nice item that can also double as a nightlight for her room. The only thing that's not ideal is that it's REALLY hard to get the floating function to work because the magnets in the base and the moon are so strong.

Super nifty levitating moon lamp! I did have some trouble getting it on the base just right but my roommate managed to get mine going for me. Fun little moon lamp and definitely a conversation piece whenever you have visitors! I’m big into astrology and space and absolutely love this little lamp
