The locks work great for locking our outlet boxes outside but I don't think they will last very long. Had them for a few months in CA weather and they are starting to rust & get stuck. I cleaned them up & they still function for now they just don't seem like they will last very long outdoors. I think they work better as bag or locker locks but not the best if you need something outdoors long term.

The ad says the lock is for a fence or locker, but it is tiny. At the top of the directions it states use for luggage or backpack, golf bag. This is too small to even fit my locker latch so I'm returning

My children were not able to not remember a locker combo easily.I asked the teacher and these were perfect for a gym locker they received a key to keep with their ids in case they could not remember the combo they had picked. Only complaint was it took more then 1 delivery to receive the 4 in the package.

I bought 2 of these. First one reset like it should. The second one, the moment it was reset it ceased functioning. Dead. Would not lock and could not reset it again. I don't know about you but I don't need my lock failing on me. Ruturned both. Bought SureLock

Instructions not so clear, but they work if you follow carefully step by step. The lock is a little flimsy, but okay for my purpose. Both keys work for both locks.

I’m redoing my review. The first review was written in frustration. It turned out it was operator error. Be sure to read the instructions very carefully on how to set the combination. The lock works just as stated with the combination and with the key.

Confusing to program and use

I was finally ready to install these locks and they don’t work. The key can open the lock, but the 0000 code doesn’t work and the lock cannot be reset.

They took about 10 minuets to recode the first one and 30 seconds to do the next 3 units. The small manual was correct, my understanding was not as good. They are somewhat light weight and not a large lock.Happy with them

Bought a 2 pack but no keys came with the locks !!

Instructions are not clear to understand at all , the key fits for one not the other , too complicated to set up the code , will be returning it

This combo padlock is really good design, operated by number code and/or key. But you must read carefully before you recode the number lock. Once you do wrong procedure on setting the code, the number lock function will not be worked.

a tap and it will break...you can't simply turn the key like you normally would...you have to leave it in, because it doesn't control a lock...it controls that little O ring you see at the base of the steel latch.that is literally all that's holding it together.i feel embarassed that i'm stuck using this thing for now.hope no one attempts the lock... cause it won't take any effort at all to break.
